“Going to work doesn’t feel like work when you truly love what you do and you get to do it with your best friends every day” Ten years ago, Shauna McCabe and Kendra Schmidt came up with the dream of Salon Sage. As friends for over ten years, they decided to finally make their dream a reality so they could accomplish their goal of making women feel more beautiful and special. Now, their salon is award winning and is accomplishing this goal on a daily basis. Women from all over the area come to the salon on a frequent basis for a variety of services. They walk away looking and feeling gorgeous both inside and out. Salon Sage has won the Best Of Denton County award for three years in a row now. Shauna and Kendra remain committed to helping others by way of their salon services. They continue to remain educated on the latest beauty techniques and trends; providing clients with new options all the time. Shauna is flattered by the success of Salon Sage as well as winning the Best Of Denton County award for the third time. “Last year was amazing and to be able to do it again is so exciting” says Shauna. Part of what makes Salon Sage so successful is the passion and enjoyment that the two owners get from their work.

The relaxed and laid back attitude of Salon Sage is what sets this business apart from others in the area. Every client who walks through the door enjoys their experience and walks out feeling beautiful and refreshed. This is one of the main reasons this salon has experienced so much success and recognition over the past few years. When not at the salon, Shauna and Kendra spend much of their time with their husbands and their children. They are also active members of their church. A lifetime resident of Tennessee, Shauna quickly fell in love with the area thanks to Kendra, who was raised here and has lived here her whole life. At Salon Sage, the goal is to make women feel confident, beautiful and important. Shauna and Kendra are passionate about their business and love what they do. This is evident with the services they provide and the recognition they have received.
