Keyboard Conversations Returns with Musical Pictures elebrated pianist Jeffrey Siegel returns to open the 2015-2016 Keyboard Conversations® season with a concert celebrating the powerful visual imagery that music can evoke with Musical Pictures, 8 p.m. Saturday, September 26 in the Museum of Art Auditorium. Chosen specifically to complement Monet to Matisse: The Age of French Impressionism, this concert includes the visually inspired, gloriously colorful music of Rachmaninoff, Debussy and the ever-popular Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky.

The School of Art welcomes Veronica Juyoun Byun to the new position of Assistant Coordinator and Instructor of Ceramic Arts. Veronica is a 2013-2015 Artist-in-Residence at MWPAI and teaches community ceramics classes. She will bring new and exciting clay offerings to the School. Veronica was born in Seoul, Korea and educated in the United States, receiving her M.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, R.I. and her B.F.A. from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in Alfred, N.Y. She has exhibited in galleries and public institutions in New York, Philadelphia, Palm Beach, Chicago, Providence, Attleboro, San Angelo, Maryland, Seoul, Korea, Varazdin, Croatia, Kapfenburg, Austria, Taipei, Taiwan, and Fienza, Italy.
