animation and special effects confeRences FILMAX ANIMATION: A REFERENCE IN THE EUROPEAN ANIMATED FEATURE FILM´S PRODUCTION. FILMAX ANIMATION belongs to FILMAX GROUP, one of the most vertical integrated theatrical and audiovisual structures in Spain. It started its film production activities in 2000 and has been releasing one very ecliptic production film per year, an outstanding challenge for a European production company.
filmax speakeRanimation Paco Rodríguez Executive Producer Filmax Animation In the year 2000, he initiated collaboration with the Filmax Group, through its subsidiary company Filmax Animation acting as international sales manager and co-producer. At this stage, he is an accomplished executive producer with “Goomer”. In 2003, he made “El Cid. La Leyenda”, and since then, he acted as associated executive producer on the feature film “ Pinocchio 3000” which has been be launched in 2004 in Spain. FILMAX ANIMATION develops its own projects (EL CID, GISAKU, NOCTURNA, DONKEY XOTE) and gets involved as minor co-producers in outside projects (P3K PINOCCHIO 3000, DRAGON HUNTERS).. We contribute with 3-D animation services in share equity (Rights) from our CGI studio BREN ENTERTAINMENT in Santiago de Compostela (Spain). We aim to be one of the major European animated film production companies with a Latin flavour.
