CONTRIBUTORS GUIDELINES SEPTEMBER 2021

EMPOWERING WOMEN TO DO LIFE, MOTHERHOOD AND BUSINESS DIFFERENTLY!


ARTICLE CONTRIBUTOR GUIDELINES Welcome to Mumpreneur Movement, We are so excited for you to be joining us and becoming a Mumpreneur Movement Magazine Article Contributor. By becoming a contributor, we have listed a few things that we require of your article before it is submitted; There is a minimum word count of 300 & a maximum of 500 words. A charge of $0.99AUD per word if it exceeds the limit allotted for your article page. (We require a fee of $99AUD per 600-word article). You will need to submit 2 x high-resolution professional photos of yourself with high resolution + 3 high-resolution images representing your article that you have the right to use commercially. Please also share the photographer so we can credit their work. All quotes, statistics, or published facts are to be referenced. So, please share the author, link, book, etc. By being a contributor, it is a requirement to share the release of the Magazine itself on all of your social media platforms, tagging us through your newsletter list, as well as sharing twice over a month about your article or the magazine itself. A review on our Facebook page is also part of this collaboration & is much appreciated. By writing & submitting an article to the Mumpreneurs Movement, you give full permission for media release & agree to the above terms. Your article is unique and has not been seen elsewhere & is only for the Mumpreneur Movement Magazine written by you. Your article's purpose is to share your knowledge, experience & expertise, it is not to focus on selling your products or services.


September's theme is... there isn't one. Perhaps we can call it FREEWRITING. Allow your mind to go where it will, from one idea to another, while recording your thoughts. As you plan out your composition in a more organized way, you may later eliminate what you initially wrote down. That said, freewriting can help you break free from writer's block and narrow down a topic. You can take a look at the Topics That We Cover on the next page for ideas. Send us an email with your pitch at least 5 days before the deadline to save your slot. Deadline: 8th of August It is a requirement for your article to be proofread before you submit your article. Minor changes might occur at our discretion, yet you will be notified for final approval. If significant changes need to be made, you will be asked to do. TOPICS THAT WE COVER Womanhood, wellness & lifestyle, business, motherhood, sex, love, relationships, Holistic living, and food and health, including recipes. What we are looking for is: NON-promotional articles 300-500 words long of real-life experiences/stories Professionals who are an expert in a specific area to share tips and hints (but not promotional) on certain topics based on your own experience. Some ideas of the content we are wanting: Your favourite Recipe! You don't need to be a chef; I want real mums fav easy recipes + a photo. Photography - if you have photos you love and would love us to use in our magazine, please send them through, and we will credit you and share your link. How to relax - example, meditation (audio), yoga practices (video), Free workshops - If you have a great workshop (pre-recorded) you think could benefit our community, we want to know about it. How to follow your dreams and reignite your passion after a failed relationship Multi-tasking Mum Hacks Morning and Family Practices to set up for a successful day Discounts on helpful products, services SEO Google Breakdown Advertising Hacks Social Media Hacks Personal check-in resources and tools Motherhood Hacks and tips How to create a healthy; mind, body, soul Mindset How to achieve goals whilst still being a mum – a more feminine way (personally and professionally) Real-life stories about overcoming adversity Tips on how to run business/es as a mum. Resources for running business checklists, downloadables, interactive workshops Real-life health journeys overcoming illnesses (mind/body) such as cancer, autoimmune disease, and so on. Stories of business success and how you achieved it with actionable steps to implement How you have overcome a struggle within any of the areas of life, motherhood, or business How to put ourselves first. Breaking the cycle. It's ok to be successful. To become an article contributor and receive the guidelines and be the first people to receive upcoming opportunities such as articles, showcases, etc., join our Facebook group or sign up for our newsletter. PLEASE NOTE that your article will go through a selection process, and you will be notified if your article is chosen to be published.
