Editor's Note After the year 2020, we all seem to have evolved into experts of unexpected things. However, despite our personal wins, I believe we all saw the importance of community.

After being in quarantine for what seemed like eternity, where so many had to spend months at a time alone, it is only fair to say, we are better together than apart. Community allows us to see each other's strengths, and abilities, it also reminds us to be more grateful. This edition of Multiple Streams is celebrates community. I am building a dynamic network of business professionals, including business consultants, influencers, marketing pros, accountants, financial pros, and business attorneys, to provide you, the small business owner, with what you may need to scale and grow your business to extraordinary heights and multiple figure revenues. I brought my gal friends - the Bossbabes - to help me do just that. Enjoy meeting all 4 ladies featured in the lead story. Business Credit Tips for Every Entrepreneur What is Business Credit? Businesses can have business credit reports and scores just like people do. Business credit bureaus such as Experian, Equifax and Dun & Bradstreet all keep records of debt payments and other credit information on businesses. Your business credit report may be used by lenders, creditors, suppliers, insurance companies and other organizations evaluating a credit or insurance application or business deal. These tips on how to establish business credit and then build a business credit profile can help you bring your plans and aspirations to fruition.

8. Monitor your credit

7. Separate business and personal expenses

A significant number of small business owners have found errors on their credit reports. Diligently monitoring your business credit history can help you spot any items that aren’t accurate. If you do find an error, be sure to file a dispute with the reporting agency. (Sign up at Nav.com to check and monitor your business credit profile with major business credit agencies. They also have several resources to help you identity trade lines, lines of credit and business loans).

Given the steps above, this is fairly redundant, but nonetheless important. By opening credit cards, lines of credits, and bank accounts in your business’s legal name, you’ll be separating your business and personal expenses. Make sure to only spend money from your business checking account rather than your personal when it comes to business expenses. Clearly separating your personal from

for good health, healing and a way of life Contributor: Cheryl-Ann McKinley erbs

I

like to tell people all the time that this world was made fearfully and

wonderfully by its creator. I say it because I honestly believe it to be so. The bible in the book of Genesis provides the antecedents for herbs; Genesis 1:29 says Then God said, "I give you every seedbearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food." Herbal medicine has its origins in ancient cultures, as well. Plants are used for medicinal purposes long before prehistoric times. Various cultures worldwide have been using herbs as medicine for over 4000 years.

As you may or may not know, the word herb is derived from the Latin word Herba and an old French word Herbe. These definitions refer to any part of the plant, including the fruit, seed, stem, bark, flower, leaf, stigma, root, etc. The use of herbs for health and wellness involves the therapeutic use of plants to treat disease and

enhance general health and well-being. Herbs are plant food substances used to build the body to better health naturally. Therefore, herbal medicine aims to return the body to a state of natural balance to heal itself. In fact, different herbs act on various systems of the body. Each human body has diverse physical attributes and require different herbs to aid their body’s needs. Herbs can be used for everything and anything the body needs. There are some experts and researchers who say there is a herb or combination of herbs to fit every person’s DNA. The reason herbs are beneficial to the body is that they change the environments in which they live. The drugs that are used to make medication are 22

synthetic and made from concentrates, even those that include herbs are altered and vital properties removed. Human beings were not meant to live their entire lives on drugs. Therefore, I believe that, the sooner this is recognized, supplementing with herbs is the way to go.

In fact! World Health Organization research has shown that 80%of people worldwide rely on herbal medicines for some aspects of their primary health care needs.

They further acknowledge that 21,000 plant species have the potential of being used as medicinal plants. Herbs have the power to correct and enhance almost every aspect of the body's well-being.

Herbs for good health........

I have my very own story about how herbs helped give me a second chance at life. In 2013, I left Tennessee, headed back to Louisiana and thought I was going home to die. After I arrived, I spent three years sleeping 18 to 20 hours a day. I only went out to go to my doctor's visits. Each time I had a doctor’s visit, I left with another prescription. Three years later, I found myself taking over twenty medications, some prescribed and others over-the-counter drugs, all while sleeping on a CPap machine. No one tried to help me, I didn’t realize yet that I would have to help myself. One morning I found myself crying out to God, "Please don't let me die like this. God whispered to me, "You are healed, but Faith

without works is dead." In my tears, I began to smile. Although I smiled, I had no idea what was to come next. God put someone in my path who would become my health coach. I explained my situation to him and gave him a list of all my medications. He put me on a program that would eventually change the rest of my life. I spent the next thirty days drinking one gallon of Kangan Alkaline water and herbal teas. I did everything he told me to do. Over the next year, I lost one hundred pounds. I found that people were attracted to weight loss. Weight loss was not the focus. The focus was on my health, and the weight loss was merely a bonus. I still use herbs to maintain good health, my

weight, and my overall healthy mental state. Along with a healthy regimen of food and exercise, I have rid my body of all non-communicable diseases I had. It has been almost eight years since this lifestyle change, and I attribute a huge part of my lack of dependence on prescription medication to the use of herbs as supplements. There are herbs to address every challenge the body must correct to stay healthy and alive. There are herbs to clean the intestine, liver, lymphatic system, kidney, respiratory system and heart. These include; Senna, mulberry leaf, dandelion leaf and root and burdock. You can maintain good health by using, red clover, mullein, hibiscus, stone root, Siberian ginseng and olive leaf. Of course we all would like

beautiful skin! Perfect for good skin is black walnut dandelion leaf and hibiscus. Herbs are indeed a way of life.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

MOZ says it another way: “The more links on a page, the less equity each link can pass to its destination page. A page only has so much equity to go around.” With internal links, it’s also important to make sure you redirect links if and when you move a page on your website. If you relocate it without updating the internal link address, your visitors will get an error message when they click through. Try and avoid that by remembering to redirect pages whenever you move them or change the address.

Image Alt Text In addition to showing images on your website, you’ll want to use alt text, short for “alternative text,” which are descriptions of the images being shown. Alt text helps visually impaired users understand what images are being displayed on the webpage. As importantly as clarifying what an image shows, you’ll also want to use alt text because search engines crawl them.

Formatting 101 While using keywords, links, and images are all important for improving search results and your page rank, there are some formatting rules you’ll want to follow to be sure that search engines and users can find what you’ve shared. Some of the basic formatting guidelines include:

• Headings. Don’t make a visitor have to scroll through paragraph after paragraph of content without a hint as to what the subject-matter is. Use headers to break up long blocks of text and to give a user a heads up regarding what the topic is. • Text size. When in doubt, go larger, not smaller, with your text typeface. It’s hard to read anything on a desktop screen under 16 points, not to mention the difficulty faced when trying to read text on a phone. Google recommends using at least a 16-point typeface for readability. • Text color. Most people know that black text on a white background provides the best readability because the contrast is greatest. But what color should you use if your website background is blue or yellow or green? The World Wide Web Consortium offers some advice in its website accessibility guidelines. • Bullet points. We love them, you love them, Google loves them. Use bullet points whenever possible, to improve the ability to scan content. • Paragraph breaks. Break up big blocks of text or long paragraphs using paragraph breaks. They help make chunks of copy less overwhelming to the eye. • Visual elements. Photos, illustrations, charts, graphs, and videos are all useful additions that can both enhance the reader’s understanding of material on your site and increase engagement. As 29

In 2013 Stephanie decided to shift into the shapewear industry. At that time, the global market value was $46.8 million, and Pretty Girls Waisted was introduced.

Stephanie Elise is a notable business connoisseur with decades of business building experience. Owning and operating multiple successful businesses contributes to her expertise, knowledge, and passion. Always a student, she has an eagerness for continuous education while consistently educating others — even during her challenges battling expressive language disorder, Stephanie continued to further her education. After earning a bachelor’s from Chicago State University with an Accounting concentration, Stephanie decided to apply her studies to the family business and entrepreneurship to build a legacy of her own, which was an effortless transition. Her father led by example, being the founder of his landscaping company. Stephanie’s dad extended an opportunity to oversee operations. Reveling in every aspect of her newly found ability, a full-time entrepreneur was born. The guidance and support of her father pushed Stephanie to make her father’s business very successful. It was her honor to work side by side with him, and although her father has since transitioned, she owns and operates her landscaping business surpassing five years. As Stephanie believes in generational wealth, her involvement in family-owned 48

business didn’t stop there. She found interest in Colbert Ball Tax Services, owned by her stepmom. Soon after, Prosperity Financial Services (PFS) was founded in 2003, providing dedicated and personalized tax services to its consumers. PFS was owned and managed by Stephanie for several years. Now retired from providing tax solutions, the company still thrives under the management of the family. Soon after diversifying her portfolio to residential real estate, she became skilled at purchasing and managing income properties. In 2013 Stephanie decided to shift into the shapewear industry. At that time, the global market value was $46.8 million, and Pretty Girls Waisted was introduced. Pretty Girls Waisted provides shapewear, noninvasive body contouring, and health sprays (known as the popular Trim 365 or Liquid Lipo).

Focusing on health and wealth, Stephanie created Legacy Boss Empire, a community to empower women providing resources and tools to tap into their full earning potential by enhancing their skills and talents. Stephanie recently introduced a new franchising opportunity called Income Tax in a Box, allowing her to expand her business and help up and coming entrepreneurs. Stephanie’s proven track record has helped her to become a sought-after Business Coach with a reputation that precedes her. Her addition to the book will help aspiring entrepreneurs in niche-specific businesses to successfully launch and scale their business.

A tip sheet generally contains useful information for your target market related to the products or services you sell. It’s best if the tips are what the media refers to as “evergreen,” meaning they’ll help your prospects and customers no matter whenthey’re read. Here are some examples of different tip sheets companies could create: • Hair salon: This year’s top 5 holiday hairstyles • A bookstore: The 10 books local CEOs or business leaders are currently reading • A graphic designer: How to spruce up your logo without breaking the bank. • A caterer: How to save money while planning a memorable event. • A realtor: How to make your cozy home feel bigger to buyers. • A baby gear retailer: How to swaddle your newborn. The key is to offer information of interest to your target market, without much in the way of self-promotion. Ideally, you’ll present yourself as a market expert, not a salesperson. Here is a guide to creating a tip sheet from our friends at StartupNation. Bylined article In some cases, you may want to pursue the opportunity to write a complete article and submit it to a media outlet. If your name 50

appears on it as the author, it’s called a “byline” or “bylined article.” Although few consumer publications accept bylined articles, trade journals often will. To find out if a trade journal your audience reads accepts article submission, do a Google search for “article submission” and the name of the publication, blog, or website. Alternatively, you could go to the media website and search the phrase “article submission” to track down any instructions that have been posted about the process. If you discover a newspaper or journal accepts submissions, draft a brief email outlining what you’d want to write about. You’ll want to have read a few back issues to better understand the types of topics they cover to confirm that your idea would fit. If the editor accepts the idea, find out how long it should be and what your deadline is. Many submissions give the author a free resource box or short section at the end where they can identify themselves and their business and include the website URL. Definitely ask if that’s the case with your article, and be sure to send along your information if so. When the article runs, you want to be sure as many people as possible will see it. So, you may want to pay to have reprints made, share it on your website, and link to it on social media. All of these proactive methods are designed to help you persuade members of the media to quote you in articles they’re writing or broadcast reports they’re planning. Your job is to encourage them to

Boutique CEO I’m so excited to be sharing my story! I want to encourage someone who is procrastinating & fearful to start their business. Just Start! How I got started: 1. I had a vision. I decided to create a vision board by gathering old magazines with the styles & designs I liked and cut & pasted them to my board. My brand , styles, colors, sizes , shapes and ethnicity were chosen. I also mediated on Habakkuk Chapter 2:23. I then decided to get professional Coaching with Dr. Joan WrightGood. She enlighten my understanding & opened my vision up to a greater understan-ding. She challenged me to do things I never would have imagine I could do. She taught me about desired income, Business goals and more.

Im grateful for connecting with Dr . Joan she's a honest person who's helped me to think about how much I could make monthly. In 6 months I was making more than I had desired! Wow! It’s happening! Here are some of my biggest sellers. First is the contrast

Wy I stopped attending Church I stopped attending Church when the pastor started having leadership call and ask why I was not in service. Because I was a Sunday school teacher I was also expected to attend every single service throughout the week. Including mornings and evenings and special events. Soon after, he started calling out anyone who needed to get up and go to the bathroom and called out one woman in the middle of his sermon asking her where she was going when she started walking out. We had a very large Church and it must have been quite an embarrassment to her. She stated she had to go to work. I went home and decided that I would not have a person or congregation dictating what I will do or where I will go. I have attended other churches but have found that it is way too controlling. There are too many cliques and church politics. ......Heidi Gray Since my childhood I could not understand why people who had not been “born again” could not go to heaven. Or why it was a sin to dance, or play cards. Or why Catholicism was so bad, or why the Bible made no sense in so many places. I had good grounding in Bible study, for which I am forever grateful, good friends in the church, and a family who guided me with

practical wisdom and unconditional love. But when I left home for college, I quit pretending to be a believer, at least as my church required. I became something else: maybe a Buddhist. At least Buddhism is sensible. My church didn’t make much sense at all in what it taught. I like for things to make sense......Margaret McDavid

LET'S CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE LOST THEIR WAY. WE ARE IN AN APOSTATIC ERA, MANY ARE FALLING AWAY. I PRAY YOU & I REMAIN.

HOW I made another Million dollar in 90 days I shared these nuggets in my coaching class. I also put it in a quick online course available on my website, why don't you check out www.joanwrightgood.com? So this happened in the pandemic by way of Real Estate. If you've been following me for a while, you would know that property ownership is a big deal for anyone who has been homeless before! Let's get into it.... A house is not an asset unless it is paying for itself and/or making you money. That said, there is a difference between purchasing a home and buying real estate. To become a 6 or 7 figure real estate investor you must be looking to purchase real estate with a side of home ownership. What do I mean? Here is what I did! going in. I spent $10,000 to beautify it and I purchased a 7 bedroom 3 story house in separated the 2 bedrooms, when revalued the Georgia (conventional route). I turned 2 house was now valued at $450,000.00 bedrooms on the lower floor into a rental property so that the house could start paying The second house bought for $105,000 is now for itself. It did and also brought in income. I valued $185,000. used business credit to purchase a second The third house purchased using the property CASH! An investment property, again making revenue. I used the revenue from Entrepreneurial Loan -which I explain detail in the course - is in a higher end city, Boca Raton property 1 to purchase a third property for and is valued at $350,000. AirBnB to bring in more income. All 3 properties combined with equity amounted to 1,000,000. I bought the first home for $285,000 it had equity of $50,000

All properties are bringing in income. This happened over a 90 day period in the pandemic. If you are looking to build wealth with real estate, grab my course at www.joanwrightgood.com it has all the resources and contacts for the agents I used.
