TWO JOIN TEACHING STAFF by Carol Stolz

Two .new faculty members have joined Montana Tech's teaching staff this spring semester. Dr. Larry G.' Twidwell, an associate professor of metallurgy. will teach metallurgical thermodynamics, metallurgy of iron and steel, and a graduate course on reactor materials during the spring semester. Dr. Twidwell comes from Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he held a position in the reactor development division of Sandia Corp. He has also been a research chemist for Monsanto Research Corporation in Miamisburg, Ohio. Dr. Twidwell has a B.S. and M.S. from Missouri School

of Mines and a Ph.D from Colorado School of Mines. Mr. Floyd C. Bossard will join Montana Tech's faculty on a part-time basis as an assistant professor in the department of mining engineering. He will teach courses in environmental engineering and mine and industrial ventilation. Mr. Bossard .is currently working for the Anaconda Co. where he performs special assignments for the manager of Montana operations. Previous to this, he has worked as a ventilation and industrial hygiene engineer and also as assistant planning engineer. Bossard has a B.S. from Montana Tech and an M.S. from the University of Cincinnati.
