The Foreign Service of the Republic of Poland celebrates each year the Foreign Service Day on November 16 which marks the anniversary of the telegram sent on 16 November 1918 by Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Armed Forces Józef Piłsudski who notified the international community of the rebirth of an independent Polish state after 123 years of foreign rule. The brochure contains information about history of the Polish Foreign Service, headquarters after 1918 and current structure and functioning of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs including a list of foreign missions.
