In his talk, RJ shared the common denominators among the most successful entrepreneurs and businessmen in the world
“For me, number 1 is the Entrepreneurial Mindset, and you should have Hustle and Grit, as well as a Growth Mindset,” RJ emphasized
During the Covid-19 pandemic, many business operations were affected by major disruptions, leading many entrepreneurs to pivot and look at different angles to create new businesses
“Disruption in business is the new normal…In business, we call this Disruptive Innovation, when an existing way of doing business is replaced by a new way of doing business, displacing established market leading firms, products, and alliances,” RJ continued
“My question is, would people like to be the Disruptor or would you like to be the one Disrupted?” RJ asked the online audience of the Business Networking Meeting
According to the seasoned entrepreneur, businessmen should always keep an entrepreneurial mindset and remember that an opportunity lies in every crisis, citing that billion dollar companies managed to emerge from major economic recessions in the past
To make sure that businesses survive and thrive amidst disruptions, entrepreneurs need to be innovative and stay ahead of their competition
Attendees of the online meeting had the opportunity to participate in insightful discussions with RJ and the community Janice dela Cruz, an avid networking meeting participant, remarked that entrepreneurs need to be able to identify and solve problems and challenges to become successful RJ added that entrepreneurs shouldn’t shy away from problems and instead view them as business opportunities that they could then uniquely solve with their new and innovative ideas
