Government Shuffle

Throughout the last week, the Russian government has seen two important cabinet positions inside of the Vdayrit government alongside the department of defense have been rearranged, primarily due to the lack of activity by important members inside of the government. Selected for the job, former General of the Air Force SLAMOVNIK989 has been selected as the new Deputy Prime Minister taking over the position from former DPM OfficialJarJam who has been moved to fill the vacant position inside of the ministry of defense.

Inside of the Ministry of Defense, the former Admiral of the Navy has resigned from his post, being reassigned to the 1st Lieutenant of the Northern Fleet while former 1st Lieutenant of the Northern Fleet risko789 has been moved to the rank of Admiral of the Navy.

Having a dedicated office inside of the Kremlin is new. Where once I commanded vessels of high importance and managed small task forces and aerial squadrons, I am charged with the lives of all those who choose to dedicate themselves to the Northern Fleet.

I plan to preserve and foster further ability in ensuring the security of Russia in both air and sea. risko789, Russian Admiral of the Navy TASS was able to interview the new Admiral of the Navy, risko789, who was eager to begin work, advancing both the interests of his beloved fleet and those of Russia as a whole.

In the new position, Admiral risko789 plans to organize several large-scale exercises to increase combat readiness, primarily focusing on submarine warfare and air defense.

THE WARSAW PACT

An agreement between the United States and Russia promises security

As the East Alpha Treaty Defensive Pact (EATDP) continues waging aggressive actions to both the United States alongside Russia, the need came for a collective security agreement. This agreement which had already been in de facto place for the members of either side ensured friendly relations between the low ranks which would be fostered by sympathetic feelings by the governments. This new treaty would proclaim an alliance called the Warsaw Pact, a genuine defensive agreement between these nations.

While the document itself is not available for public view, TASS was able to get an exclusive look at the treaty.

Decisions made by the security council will be decided in a vote of 8 persons. In the event of a tie the entire Pact will vote on the issue.

Security Council members will have the opportunity to change their votes before a vote including all members undergoes.

In the event where a decision is to be made quickly and cannot be voted on by the entire security council, then they may proceed with such actions. If a member decides to take such action by themselves; the rest of the

council will be allowed to take their decision under question and prosecute such actions as the council deems necessary.

Warsaw Pact Original Document

The treaty covers the creation of a Joint Security Council on PACT related issues comprising of 8 delegates of whom a quorum is 8 and operates on a simple majority where a tie leads to a democratic referendum between the governments.

PACT members are obligated to come to the aid of another member during a time of defensive conflict and allows for interoperability between US and Russian bases. This cements the creation of the new bipolar world that had been in place informally from the beginning of the round.

The lines are drawn in the sand, the only way forward is to see how these two alliances manage their relations with one another in a new age for global affairs.

The Bipolar World

With the world neatly divided into two competing blocs, where do we go next?

With the publicization of the Warsaw Pact, the world has broken into two blocs, those that follow the commands of Iran, UK, and Japan through EATDP and those that seek protection from them inside of the Warsaw Pact. With increasing military tension bordering on the line of war between the factions, the stage is set for an annihilation war between these two blocs.

Already Iranian and British long-range artillery strikes target civilians in Nevnal and GN Darren without remorse or just cause and EATDP aircraft strike at American ships inside of their own territorial waters. The scene is set where there is only one possible options left for Russia: continuing to defend her borders and taking appropriate action, and if necessary retaliatory action to safeguard her citizens, protect the livelihood of her peoples, and protect her young men who volunteer for the sake of their loved ones back home. This pseudo-war that has developed between the factions has already caused the deaths of hundreds of men on both

sides and in the absence of diplomacy Russia will not back down from protecting herself and her natural rights as a sovereign and independent nation and ensuring that her ally the United States' right as both independent and sovereign nation are respected in the face of foreign aggression. If this is the recourse that other nations have chosen then Russia is more than capable of protecting herself, with an increasingly able air force and a rehabilitated fleet sustained with a robust economy and balance.

While it is undeniable that peace is the preferred option, a peace without honor is intolerable for any nation. TASS makes a plea to the citizens of the United Kingdom, Iran, and Japan to pressure your government away from the path of devastation they march towards.

Considering all the aggression towards Russia and her allies, is there any recourse save for war in the future? This only depends on the future actions of those inside of the EATDP

The Actions of the 7th

EATDP and the United States with Russia fight in Southern Alpha.

The events of the 7th come in four distinct actions.

The first would be the long-range artillery bombardment of Russian military installations by Iranian artillery, targeting Surface to Air missile batteries on the island. Despite a prolonged barrage, the SAM batteries were left unharmed, though several houses were left damaged. The Iranians eventually lead a one-way mission to destroy the SAM battery at the loss of a MiG-29.

The second would be a sneak attack on then First Lieutenant of the Northern Fleet risko789 who was being transported to Volgo Harbor inside of a ‘Tor’ missile complex. The Iranian forces used two MiG21MFs to spearhead the assault, however thanks to the skilled operators their attack was thwarted destroying both attackers.

The third is a series of repeated aerial engagements from brand new VVS Su-30MKIs who were able to prove their worth by assisting American forces against a Japanese and Iranian onslaught, shooting down numerous F-15Js, F-1s, and MiG-29s before returning back for more fuel.

While one pilot would be able to return to base, the

other was forced to bail after a US pilot failed to recognize the differences between a MiG-29 and a Su-30, leading to 4 AMRAAMs at point blank range impacting his aircraft causing rapid unscheduled disassembly.

I won’t lie with you, it was somewhat frightful looking down on my radar scope and seeing a swarm of purple boxes ahead of me, but I had faith in my vehicle, in my superiors, and most importantly myself. risko789, NF LT and Pilot The final action would be the USN, USAF, and VVS attempting to fish out a submarine from Risni Port, which was being defended by a heavy layer of SAMs. Despite USAF P-3s not being able to find the submarine, Japanese air defenses were severely degraded by the end of the engagement, losing radars, individual SAM units, and self-contained SAMs.

Wrecking Havoc. The Mi-28NM This issue’s spotlight is on the Mi-28NM attack helicopter by ak477774

The Mi-28NM is a Soviet-Russian all-weather daynight 2-seater attack helicopter developed and produced by Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant for the armed forces of the Russian Federation.

Development began on Mi-28 in 1980. In 1984 the Mi-28 was approved for trials but would lose to the rival Kamov Ka-50 Black Shark. Despite this failure Mil continued to develop the aircraft with lower funding.

In 1988 the Mi-28A was finished and had its first test flights and featured more modern technology and unique X type tail rotors. The Mi-28A would fly at air show in Paris in 1991 but was cancelled in 1993 again because it was deemed inferior to the Ka-50.

Despite this setback, the Havoc would refuse to go down and would come back in 1995 in the N variant (N standing for Night), a revamped version which would be able to compete with the Ka-50, with similarities to American Apache AH-64D Longbow such as the radar in a round cover above the main rotors. Despite the revamp the project would again end up in funding problems and would stop until

2004 when an upgraded Mi-28N was revealed, and orders would finally begin in when the army planned to fully replace Mi-24 Hind. By 2015 28 helicopters were delivered. For it to stay in service it was modernized with low-radar signature, extended flight range, more advanced fire control systems and in 2016 Mi-28NM was revealed.

The Mi-28N/NM is a new generation attack helicopter for Air-to-Air and Air-to-Ground combat. It features tandem, stepped-up cockpits, featuring a fully armored cabin against small caliber weapons and cannon fragments. Due to it having nonretractable tricycle tail-wheel type landing gear the crew can survive vertical falls of up to 12m/s cause of the energy the gear absorbs. It’s reduced noise engines while its pilots are issued helmet mounted displays.

The Havoc is currently in service with Algeria, Iraq, and Algeria and has seen combat in the Syrian Civil War, against the ISIL, and in the recent conflict in Ukraine.
