How have the lives of those who live around the old carrier changed?

The people of the Alpha archipelago are a diverse one, equally as diverse as the landscape, ranging from the metropolis of Vau, to the rural cities of North Risni, to the sandy Liberty Bastion. The people of GN Darren are a unique people with a unique language dubbed Darrenese, averaging about 152cm, whose extensive port facilities in a strategic location has attracted Russian attention causing their integration into the federation, but who were these people and who are they now?

The aircraft carrier which gives its name to both the town and the island is nothing remarkable, being an old escort carrier, whose glory days were more than 50 years ago. This carrier however is a symbol not only of the port’s maritime history, nor only of its maritime present, but of the spirit of a peoples who have always had one foot on land and the other on the sea. The port of GN Darren being the center for naval operations makes not only strategic sense but cultural sense as a capital for forward naval ops.

CIVIL WAR CANCELLED! President and the Chief-of-Staff bring the US to civil war

Throughout all of this year the once United States fell into disunity, as disparate leaders claimed large swathes of the United States as the new POTUS gabiroman failed to gain the confidence and respect of his Chief-of-Staff Omega. Last issue TASS covered the dividing line inside of the civil war interviewing members on both sides of the civil conflict.

This previous seemingly unstoppable march towards civil war inside of the United States has unexpectedly and abruptly ceased as the belligerent parties have been pushed to the negotiation table without a single shot being fired. The man responsible for this is Chief of Naval Operations zza1, who previously rejected allegiance from either side taking control of most of the U.S. navy including most notably his flagship the USS New Jersey, a modernized battleship from the Second World War, which TASS projects was likely able to use his naval assets to force through an ultimatum with most private and public conditions, bringing the two belligerent factions into a compromise.

Zza1, US Chief of Naval Operations While the situation inside of the United States remains somewhat of a black box with most of the leadership attempting to rebuild the country rather than create international broadcasts, one of the public terms of the compromise between the Union leader and POTUS gabiroman and the former Chief of Staff and Confederate Leader Omega was the affirmation of gabiroman in the position of POTUS while leaving the position of VPOTUS open to a faction-wide election which saw Omega secure the VPOTUS position.

Thus, it appears that thanks to the swift intervention of zza1, the United States was saved from a civil war which would have left both its people and its military devastated and destroyed. Hopefully this peace between the two poles of ideological thought inside of the United States are able to tolerate one another long enough in order to ensure that the United States does not descent into civil war in the future.

Is it time for The Times?

The UK has begun an international newspaper, what is it and how is it?

In this issue it is important to remind viewers that alongside crises and diplomatic plays by foreign nations, it is also important to stay true to the name given that the section is called Beyond Borders rather than Crises in Far

Away Lands.

The creation of the British news network that currently goes by the name The Times is a Google Doc newspaper produced by the British Prime Minister JKgeneral2. While the first edition is very brief with only four articles averaging about 100 words each for a total word count including titles being 494 words, which is roughly the same length as one TASS article. Despite the paper’s brevity, it is succinct and to the point, conveying the information required of it as quickly as possible. The twopage paper is divided into four articles, one on domestic military actions including a claimed ‘spy mission over Russian territory’, the second on domestic policy actions relating to the ACW, the third focused on foreign affairs and the end of the ACW while the last talks about military equipment, specifically the F-4M.

To gain further insight on the paper, one must understand that it isn’t sponsored by the government, nor is it under scrutiny of it, but directly written by the Prime Minister. For the most part the paper works as a conjunction of #RP-NEWS press releases bundled up for convenience rather than even attempting the masquerade of independent journalism, which while it kills the idea of independent fact-finding which is so vital to TASS’s survival and values, it doesn’t mean that the paper should be thrown out entirely. Despite this major

shortcoming in accuracy, what it does provide is the direct positions of the United Kingdom of positions in an easily digestible way: understanding that they feel threatened

by Russian military might, that they feel neutral to the ACW, and express a positive sentiment with the resolution of said conflict through compromise.

While The Times is currently only a basic facts at best, propaganda at worst outlet, an appendage of the British government, it is the opinion of Editor-in-Chief risko789 that with time, The Times could make itself into an outlet with a spark of life, as he himself began his journalistic journey creating similar articles for CWRP USSR under the title of Pravda more than 2 years ago. It is hopeful that cooperation with The Times could help fulfill the lofty ideals set out in the first Voices interview and to help TASS fulfil its own values of creating an international journalism community.

The Kursk submarine mystery Where is it? How is it? We don’t know.

by Staff-Writer Taco & Editor-in-Chief risko789 During the Russian disruption attempt on the British capture of Vau Port which would solidify British control over Vau, alongside the battles over the skies as Russian Sukhois and MiGs attempted to penetrate the wall of defending aircraft, the submarine K-141 Kursk which had previously received renown for disrupting the Japanese attempt on the first capture of Pearl Harbor and thwarting Japanese attempts on GN Darren has gone missing after a determined effort by both British and Iranian anti-submarines forces.

I hope contact can be reestablished with the submarine and if it is bad enough, the crew be rescued. That submarine was my home for more than a year and I know that all inside of the Northern Fleet would remember it as a tragedy if really did go down, but it would be a further tragedy if those skilled men were lost.

Despite this, the resolve of Russian forces has not wavered, and if this day truly did turn out to be a dark day for the Navy and the VVS as some unconfirmed rumors say it is, then it shall be remembered by the belligerents against Russia as their finest hour.

This issue’s spotlight is on the Su-34 fighter-bomber by risko789

The Sukhoi Su-34 is a fighter-bomber aircraft based on the Su-27 airframe, taking a similar approach to the design philosophy of the American F-15E to convert a heavy fighter into a ground attack aircraft while retaining the ability to defend itself. The Su-34 is meant to replace multiple aircraft in Russian service from the Soviet era in attack roles such as maritime strike, interdiction, and reconnaissance, taking the mantle from the Tu-22M bomber and the Su-24 attacker. The aircraft’s nose is the aircraft's the most distinguishing characteristic featuring tandem seating coupled with cabin accommodations for the longer flights necessary to complete its roles including a mini kitchen and enough space to walk, stand, and laydown in. Despite being introduced in 2014, the development process began all the way back in the 1990s mired by funding issues, thus prompting a new variant, the Su-34M to replace all current airframes with better avionics, better diversity for smart bombs, and hardpoint diversity. The aircraft is currently in service with the Russian Air Force serving it since 2014 while Algeria has 14 units on order.

Leadership with SLAMOVNIK989 How Neo Warfare X RPs can shape and develop one’s character

Leadership is a tricky to define essence that distinguishes man from a boy. While certainly one’s exploits in a video game especially a Lego game military vehicle simulator such as NWX hardly make one into a man, the RP scene still develops and fosters the core ideas of leadership, which in this Voices is centered around the current General of the Air Force, SLAMOVNIK989, who has served for more than 3 years inside of the Neo RP scene in many different HR and faction lead positions.

Leadership is managing a team, managing yourself.

Ultimately, leadership means to become one with many, being able to convince, persuade and execute. The ultimate art of society and war.

SLAMOVNIK989 For SLAM, the idea of leadership is focused on 2 different yet inseparable aspects, those of the self and those dealing with others. For dealing with others, the goal is to be entirely being a team player, understanding the intricacies that come with interpersonal communication and dealing with them in a manner that accomplishes the best while ensuring a satisfied base. Especially inside of an environment such as that for a milsim like Neo, it is necessary to be a team player, understanding that one’s actions in isolation usually lead to the destruction of forces in a piecemeal fashion. Such actions naturally involve dealing with some members one on one to ensure an effective and more importantly cohesive fighting force.

—“— I see one's ability to listen and admit their faults as one of the greatest qualities a Faction HR or any leader in general can have. Recently, it has become a societal issue that we become stubborn and keep ourselves in a bubble. This lack of open-mindedness is what I believe has caused and will cause many cultural and ideological divisions in the public. If you want to hold to your ideas at all costs, you ultimately stop listening to others and fear that someone will prove you wrong one day. As such, you will also fear to admit to playing a blunder in other areas of your life.

SLAMOVNIK989 For SLAM however, the biggest takeaway would be that of the self, which far from a requirement such as bravery, wit, intelligence, or creativity as the single greatest skill for an HR, he settled on an answer filled with nuance, that of humility and pragmatism. In the grand scheme of things, failure is inevitable, and it is the job of the leader of the operation to determine what went wrong, why it went wrong, and how to resolve it, which means a willingness to lay the blame on your actions and shortfalls even if it is the undesirable truth, an idea that applies not only to MRP or NWX, but to life in general.

One of my biggest lessons in my Neo history I have learned during an event that no leader wishes to face: coup d'état.

During such a time, many faction leaders in the past, be it MRP, WW2RP or any other Neo RP currently active, would try to hold onto the throne as hard as possible. Ultimately, it worked out against them, and they were thrown out of the window. In my case during WW2RP Round 6, I was a Faction Leader of UK and got couped by AustralianEmu13. What came to my mind may be possibly unheard of: What if I cancel a coup by resigning myself and instating my own successor. So, I did that. The next day, I swapped to Japan.

While it may have had an indirect effect on some of UK's victories, they ultimately lost the round. Sometimes, you need to go down the stairs to really go "up”.

While the time of funny memes, desyncs, and careful video game concentration that are so emblematic of Neo RPs and video games in general will eventually fade away with time, the impact on character and the mind left behind from one’s experiences will not, as especially in the case of SLAM, his very real understanding and experience in leadership has matured as he organizes MRP Russia, plans next moves, manages the men under his command, and reflects on the events following the operation.
