T h e p ro j e c t h e re i n B r i x to n b l o c i s a c o n t i n u a t i o n o n e I h ave started in Clapham called what this space Clapham. I t w a s a p ro j e c t f o r m e d i n 1 9 9 4 i n re s p o n s e to h i g h c r i m e r a t e , a d e m o r a l i s e d a n d d e m o t i va t e d c o m m u n i t y a n d p o o r h o u s i n g m a n a g e m e n t by t h e C o m m u n i t y Tr u s t , a c o m m u n i t y b a s e d h o u s i n g o rg a n i s a t i o n . S i n c e 2 0 0 6 , C o m m u n i t y Tr u s t b e c a m e m o re i n d e p e n d e n t a n d form their own association after finishing the partnership with t h e l o c a l a u t h o r i t y L a m b e t h .
