Inthislocalderbythatalwaysgarnersabigcrowd,it will be Dromana looking to continue their unbeaten starttotheseasonandgo3-0,whilstRosebudwillbe looking to improve on their 1-1 start and make a statementtooneoftheirbiggestrivals.
Dromana won both their first two games by dominating the first quarter and not allowing the opposition into the game so it will be important for Rosebudtostartstrongandcomeoutreadytoplay. Jake Carosella has been in some serious form for Rosebud in the first fortnight of the season and will likely receive some attention from Matthew Price’s men. Dromana’s midfield has been firing on all cylinders to start the season with ruckman Billy Geurts, Billy Quigley and Jake Aarts all among the league leaders in disposals over the first couple of rounds.
Add to this mix a forward in Jordan Andrews who is Division One’s leading goalkicker and who have a side who will take some beating. If Danny Ades’ men can replicate their 4th quarter that won them the gameagainstRedHilllastweekendthereisnotelling what can happen when these two sides meet on Saturday.
RedHillvsMt.Eliza
It’s only Round Three and Red Hill already see themselveshavingnochoicebuttofindawaytowin against Mt. Eliza this weekend. After losing to Rosebud and Dromana, Red Hill have the chance to right their wrongs and get back in the winners columnastheytakeontheRedlegsonSaturday.
Red Hill is one of the most difficult places for travelling sides and Mt. Eliza will be next to take on the Hillmen as they will be forced to respond after a drawagainstLangwarrinlastweekend.
