IMPACT REPORT

In almost every way we could have imagined, 2023 was a di cult year. It was a year that presented Movement and our entire industry with almost unprecedented challenges. That adversity prevented Movement from making a profit, but I am proud to report that although we did not make a profit, we absolutely made an impact.

In fact, we brought Impact Lending to life, letting our realtors, builders, friends and family know that there’s a di erent kind of lender in the marketplace and that when Movement wins, entire communities win.
We impacted the way we stay connected to our borrowers for life with the launch of MORE!
We added industry-leading reverse mortgage experts to the team, positively impacting the lives of seniors across America.
We delivered more than 1,000 new products to market, serving more borrowers in more unique ways.
We impacted the lives of the more than 50,000 friends and neighbors who we helped realize the dream of homeownership.
Without profit, we were not able to make a contribution to the Movement Foundation this year. But because of the profit donated from previous years, we were able to continue to build schools to positively impact the lives of kiddos in some of the toughest financial situations in America.
While leading with profit remains a core value of our company, I am proud that in a year when we were not able to make a profit, we never wavered from our commitment to make an impact. In 2024, let’s do both so that we can continue to champion a new and purpose-driven corporate culture anchored in Loving and Valuing all people.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Casey Crawford CEO, Movement Mortgage

YEAR IN REVIEW

In a relentless and grueling market, we faced challenge after challenge. The highest rates in almost 25 years. Inventory down almost 50%.
But did that stop us? No. We chose to stay and fight. To make… an impact.
What we accomplished together was remarkable.

WE ARE AN IMPACT LENDER
At Movement, mortgages mean more. Since day one, we've committed to giving back to the communities we serve. In 2023, we introduced the category of Impact Lending to define this commitment.
Any mortgage lender that commits at least 10% of its profits to helping the neighborhoods it serves is an Impact Lender.

MORE SCHOOLS
The Movement Foundation is our vessel to pour profits back into communities. Movement Schools receive the majority of the Foundation's annual investment.
We believe that by providing quality education, we can help families and communities break cycles of intergenerational poverty.
Movement Schools is a network of public charter schools committed to teaching world-class academics and virtues in underserved areas.
In 2023, we opened our fifth school: Movement Northwest in Charlotte, N.C. Soon, more scholars will be served with additional schools in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.

SUPPORT & OUTREACH MORE
We uplift others by funding much-needed infrastructure, education and support to underserved areas in the U.S. and around the world.
Our projects are intentionally designed to be self-sustaining, which is why our schools, health clinics and housing projects can flourish without ongoing fundraising.
