This is us... mountune Racing engines are carefully specified for reliability and performance. Many parts in our production based engines are lightened, strengthened or redesigned in-house to ensure that each engine delivers the performance package our customers demand. A comprehensive development programme for each new design ensures that electronic engine management is matched to the mechanical components for optimum performance and reliability. Our 2-litre I4 Ford Duratec® based engines are all-aluminium units and provide an excellent lightweight option for rally, race, hill climb, and sprint or kit car. mountune can supply this engine in a number of power levels and configurations. Our expetise with the YB engine goes back to it’s inception and includes the Ford works’ contract to build WRC-specification YB engines during the 1990’s - in fact, there are few companies globally with more experience with this engine than mountune. Re-builds of customer supplied road, race and rally engines, together with bespoke design and development work can all be undertaken.
