The Best Cooking Oils for Your Health Cooking oil is having several sources of production like plants, animals and etc. Oil is the heart of cooking, since without oil, no food can be made. Whatever can be the processes of cooking like frying, baking or etc, oil becomes more essential. It is being used in food preparation and flavoring. It is necessary to cook food and it is sometimes being used adding flavor to the food. For example, to cook any dish, oil becomes necessary. Though some oils contain more fat, it should be consumed to store its nutrition to keep our energy in good state; the specified amount of fat in daily food is established as per the FDA act. It stated that 10% of calories should be consumed to store saturated fat and 20 to 35% of total calories should be taken to maintain the presence of mono saturated and poly saturated fats.
