Grand Opening of Würth Gulf FZE’s New Premises the multinational German company opened its new head office in Jafza South on the back of strong growth

ürth Gulf FZE is a supplier of fasteners, automotive chemicals, hand tools and electrical supplies. The company’s range also extends to construction assembly items, sealants, power tools and personal safety solutions. Würth Gulf FZE belongs to Würth Group – a world market leader in its core business. It was founded in 1945 by Adolf Würth and is now managed by his son Professor Reinhold Würth. The official opening ceremony for the new premises in October was led by Ghassan Assaf, Managing Director of Würth Gulf FZE, together with guest speaker Professor Reinhold Würth, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Würth Group. Talal Al Hashimi, Chief Operation Officer of Economic Zones World – the parent company of Jafza – VIPs and officials of Jebel Ali Free Zone attended the event, which included a celebration of 15 successful years in the business.

Due to the steady growth of Würth Gulf FZE, Würth Group decided to invest in the new facility in Jafza South, which is now the dedicated head office and logistic centre with a total area of 15,000 sqm. Würth Gulf FZE was established in 2000 and its first office was officially opened in April that year under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum. The company started with three employees in 2000 and after 15 years now consists of 175 employees. Two-thirds of these are Sales Consultants selling an almost 10,000 product range to more than 5,000 active customers. Construction, and recently broadening to Oil and Gas, the Maritime sector, and establishing an Engineering Hub for consultation and technical support. The industrial market also extends to nearby GCC countries such as KSA, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar, as well as Iraq. Financial statements show that the annual turnover of AED1 million in 2000 grew to a estimated total sales of AED125 million by the end of 2015. Würth Gulf FZE’s “Move 2020” vision is to have 100 per cent growth by 2020 compared to 2015, with the aim of 370 employees and annual sales turnover of AED 250 million.
