WELCOME
WelcomeVolunteers,
On behalf of the entire tournament staff and team, I want to personally thank you for your involvement with the 2024 Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper! This tournament has become an annual tradition here in the Ozarks and is one of four original tour stops still being played on what is now called the Korn Ferry Tour The longevity and continued success of the Price Cutter Charity Championship is due to the dedication and hard work of sponsors, staff, and especially volunteers just like you!
This year will mark the biggest changes in the 35-year history of the Price Cutter Charity Championship as we embark on a bold and exciting rebranding and revitalization of the tournament experience. Among other things, this includes a brand-new skybox layout and a new home for the SGC Foodservice Ozarks Club VIP Hospitality Venue right in between Holes 12 and 18 at Highland Springs! We are excited to show off all of the new changes to golf fans from all over the Ozarks and beyond as the future of the PGA TOUR descends on Springfield the week of July 15-12, with tournament play starting on Thursday, July 18.
One of the hallmarks of the Price Cutter Charity Championship over the years has been the welcoming Ozarks hospitality displayed throughout the tournament, and especially by our incredible Volunteer Army of nearly 1,000 smiling and dedicated volunteers like you! There is no way that we could host a professional golf tournament here in Springfield for the past 35 years without our awesome volunteers You are the lifeline and heartbeat of this tournament and I want you to know that we appreciate all that you do for us! Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, needs or otherwise!

VOLUNTEER FAQ
Why should I volunteer?
Volunteerism is a cornerstone of all Korn Ferry Tour events and vital to the success of the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper. We look to the community to activate hundreds of volunteers to help us raise significant amounts of money for our charity partners. Volunteering is a great way to give back and an exciting and rewarding opportunity to be part of the action.
Do I need to be a golfer or have golf knowledge?
Is there a minimum age to volunteer?
No you do not! We have several committees that do not require any golf knowledge. Yes, you must be 14 years or older to volunteer. If you have a child ages 12-14 years old who would like to volunteer, please contact Sharon Alexander at (417) 844-3671.
What days are volunteers needed
Most volunteer shifts are Monday through Sunday, with professional play Thursday through Sunday of tournament week (July 15 - 21). Committee descriptions (separate document) include the days that each committee operates. These days (and committee times) may be subject to change.

VOLUNTEER FAQ
How many days do I have to volunteer?
We ask that you work a minimum of two (2) shifts over the course of the tournament. However, there is no requirement. You may work more or less if you prefer.
Why do I have to pay to volunteer and what do I get for it?
We ask all volunteers to pay a fee of $50. The purpose of the volunteer registration fee is to help cover the expenses of the volunteer program (uniform, food + beverage, etc.), as well as to support and give back to the community, which directly ties with our mission and the mission of the Korn Ferry Tour.
How do I get my committee assignment and/or shift schedule?
You will find any updates for the tournament and your committee information by logging into Volunteer Local. All you need is your email and password to login. Once you have successfully completed your online registration, you will receive an email confirming your selection as a volunteer. Once committee assignments are finalized, your committee chair will give you confirmation via email.

VOLUNTEER FAQ
Can I be on the same committee as I was in the past?
Yes, designate on your volunteer application the volunteer committee you would like to serve on.
Can I work with my spouse, friend, etc.?
We will make every effort to accommodate your scheduling request. Make sure to list your request on your registration form and select similar availability to the person you wish to work with during the tournament.
What
If I am unable to work my shifts(s)?
Please contact your committee chairman as soon as possible so that they can find a replacement for your shift.
When and where do I get my uniform?
Volunteer packet pickup starts at 5 p.m July 9 at the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. (3861 E Stan Musial Dr., Springfield, MO 65809). You may pick up volunteer packets after July 9. If you serve as a volunteer through a specific charity please contact your charity representative as many charities pickup their packets in bulk.

VOLUNTEER FAQ
What if my Uniform does not fit?
Exchanges can be made at any point on a first-come first-serve basis. Sizing may be limited after July 9. Please contact Sharon Alexander as soon as possible if an exchange is needed at, (417) 844-3671.
When should I arrive for my shift(s)?
It is recommended to arrive at least 30-45 minutes early to allow enough time for parking, check-in, grabbing any food if needed and walking to your volunteer location.
Where can I eat and drink during my shift?
Volunteer Headquarters will be your primary location for food and beverages during your shift. We will also have grab-and-go items available for you to eat during your shift. Hot items will be delivered to on-course volunteers. Please note: food and drinks will only be available for volunteers on days they volunteer.

VOLUNTEER FAQ
Can I watch golf when I am not working?
Yes, your credential is valid for regular Grounds Admission the entire week and we encourage you to use it. We do ask that you do not wear your uniform when you are off duty, so please bring a change of clothes if you plan to watch golf before or after your shift.
What should I bring with me to my shift(s)?
You should arrive wearing your volunteer uniform and credentials. We strongly encourage you to bring sunscreen and sunglasses. Please wear closed-toe athletic shoes; Golf shoes are acceptable, but metal spikes are not allowed. Each volunteer will receive a small soft-shell cooler and a cooling towel as part of their volunteer packet. A refillable insulated water bottle or thermos is also encouraged.
