LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Greetings, Admitted Students and Families -

I am honored to extend a welcome to our Admitted Students Weekend on behalf of our vibrant community - a tapestry woven with nearly 600 passionate employees, 2,500 ambitious and enterprising students, over 17,000 trailblazing alumni, and a global network of supporters who are all integral to making Morehouse College the premiere destination for educating men of consequence and servant leaders since 1867. Your selection to join this prestigious community is not by happenstance. Morehouse College stands tall as a symbol of academic brilliance, visionary leadership, and unbreakable brotherhood, and we are thrilled at the prospect of you becoming a part of our well-chronicled legacy of achievement. Get ready to dive headfirst into the core of the Morehouse experience. Engage with our esteemed faculty, connect with current students who epitomize the values of leadership and service, and brace yourself for an aweinspiring weekend filled with enlightenment and inspiration.

At Morehouse, we are on a mission to nurture the minds of young men of agency, destined to change the world in word and deed. Here, you’ll encounter a rigorous academic environment and a nurturing brotherhood that fuels your drive to reach unprecedented heights. To the families joining us, we extend our deepest gratitude for entrusting us with the education and growth of your sons. We understand the weight of this decision and are wholeheartedly committed to providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive as we continue to shape the landscape of Black male excellence on a global scale.

Young men, as you embark on this life-changing journey, I urge you to embrace every moment with an open heart and a thirst for discovery. Your path to greatness starts right here, and we are beyond excited to be a part of your remarkable journey.
