THOMAS NEWSOM, AIA, CDT, LEED AP, MANAGING PRINCIPAL
Thomas Newsom designs innovative, patient-centered healthcare spaces that balance aesthetics, efficiency, and compliance—trusted by clients to turn complex needs into high-performing solutions.
Thomas’s expertise extends beyond design. He is a respected leader within project teams, collaborating effectively with contractors, peers, and stakeholders. Whether it’s a cutting-edge research hospital, a community clinic, or a specialized care center, Thomas’s architectural vision contributes to the health and vitality of the communities he serves.

ABBY STOCK, NCARB, LEED GA, PROJECT ASSOCIATE
Abby plays a vital role in supporting the project team through various phases of healthcare facility design and construction. Her responsibilities include assisting in the development of architectural documentation, coordinating with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to ensure regulatory compliance, and supporting cost estimation efforts. She also contributes to quality control, ensuring that project deliverables align with design standards, functional requirements, and industry best practices.

AMANDA CLARK, RID, NICDQ, WELL AP, SR. INTERIOR DESIGNER
Leading the Southwest interior design team, Amanda is a registered Interior Designer with over 17 years of experience, holding a Bachelor of Interior Design from Texas Tech University. She is passionate about creating healing environments that benefit patients and healthcare providers. Amanda oversees the design process from conceptualization to construction administration with empathy, creativity, and expertise in the healthcare market sector. She is committed to specifying sustainable materials and utilizing longterm available resources. Amanda designs dynamic solutions with enthusiasm, flexibility, and attention to detail, ensuring successful project completion.


SCOTT HABJAN, AIA, DIRECTOR OF DESIGN, HEALTHCARE
Scott has worked with many visionary health and science leaders to advance their critical missions. From academic medical centers and schools of medicine to governmental testing and research laboratories, he has worked collaboratively to accommodate their needs expertly. Further, his forward-looking perspective has resulted in many breakthrough projects – facilities that elevate user experience, expand client mission and advance typologies. Scott is responsible for working closely with the client to establish and refine the project vision. He ensures that this vision is expertly developed and implemented to realize both the client’s functional objectives and higher aspirations.
CHARLES GRIFFITHS, CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Charles brings over 20 years of experience to this role. He has built strong relationships with local contractors and has a grasp on changes that are continually impacting the industry and local building projects. Charles will provide support to the Construction Observer on site as needed.

BRENDON HOFFMAN, AIA, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, SOUTH TEXAS
Brendon is the Executive Director for MOREgroup’s South Texas region. With a decade of architectural experience in education and nearly half a decade in healthcare, he promotes growth, develops strategy, and fosters collaboration across MOREgroup’s practice areas. His healthcare work focuses on improving the patient and staff experience through thoughtful, efficient, and healing-centered design.
Throughout his career, Brendon has prioritized client relationships, believing that strong partnerships lead to better outcomes. He takes pride in helping healthcare organizations achieve their goals, whether optimizing operations, enhancing safety, or creating spaces that promote dignity and well-being.

GIGI MORGAN, AIA, RID, SR. PROJECT ARCHITECT
Gigi is a Senior Project Architect with 23 years of experience, including 7 years with the firm. She brings a balance of creativity, technical expertise, and leadership to every project, ensuring thoughtful, high-quality design outcomes. Gigi’s experience spans a variety of building types, with a focus on environments that enhance functionality, safety, and user experience.
Her attention to detail and problem-solving ability make her a trusted resource for clients and colleagues alike. Gigi excels in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing complex design and documentation processes, and ensuring that every project aligns with client goals and operational needs. Known for her positive attitude and collaborative spirit, she is dedicated to delivering spaces that improve the lives of those who use them.

AXEL ANZA, AIA, RID, PROJECT ARCHITECT
Axel has always loved the arts and views architecture as a form of expression that directly impacts health and well-being. His passion lies in how thoughtful details contribute to healing environments, clinical efficiency, and a better experience for patients and staff. As a Project Architect, Axel combines his appreciation for drawing with precision and technical insight, using these strengths to mentor his team and guide them through a successful design and documentation process. He supports scope, schedule, and budget management while ensuring that construction documents reflect the highest standards of healthcare quality and compliance.



CHRIS BRENNAN, AIA, LEED BD+C, PROJECT ARCHITECT
Chris has eight years of experience delivering thoughtful, high-performing design solutions in healthcare and wellness environments. He leads projects from concept through construction, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design excellence, technical precision, and client satisfaction.
Chris is passionate about creating spaces that support healing, comfort, and efficiency for patients, families, and care teams alike. His collaborative approach and attention to detail consistently result in healthcare facilities that meet complex clinical and operational needs while enhancing the overall user experience.
DARRICK JAHN, RID, LEED AP, DIRECTOR OF INTERIOR DESIGN
Darrick has more than 20 years of experience providing interior design expertise for a wide range of projects, including healthcare, education, and community environments. He leads Huckabee’s interior design team, offering mentorship, development, and best practices that ensure cohesive, high-performing interiors from concept through completion.
Darrick works closely with healthcare clients and design teams to create environments that foster comfort, promote well-being, and reflect organizational culture. His focus on human-centered design helps deliver spaces that support healing, collaboration, and connection for patients, caregivers, and staff alike.
MEGAN ANZA, RID, INTERIOR DESIGNER
Megan is an experienced interior designer with 10 years in the industry and 7 years with the firm. She brings creativity, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to designing spaces that positively impact the people who use them. Megan’s experience spans a range of project types, with a focus on environments that support learning, collaboration, and well-being.
As part of the interior design team, Megan contributes to every stage of a project, from concept development to material selection and documentation, ensuring that design intent and functionality align seamlessly.
