More Music is an accredited Arts Award Centre.

Learn how to play real Chinese instruments like the Ruan (moon guitar), Erhu (violin) or Dizi (flute). All the instruments are provided. Music leader Rick Middleton has played Chinese music for 9 years and learnt firsthand from Chinese musicians in the UK and Hong Kong.

All sessions are held at More Music unless otherwise stated.

Session leader Anni Tracy creates a fun music making environment for all ages, from babies in arms to grown-ups.

Get involved in the organisation and running of gigs, projects and sessions at More Music whilst developing your confidence and skills as a young leader and working towards an Arts Award qualification.

Whether you're a bedroom musician who wants to know more, a budding studio or live sound engineer who wants experience working with ProTools, Logic and more, Ben will help you to learn new tricks, techniques and technologies.

Youth Orbit Jazz Workshop Explore composition, jazz language and performance, suitable for developing players of any instrument. Session leaders Matt Robinson and Dave Shooter are talented jazz musicians who also organise Lancaster Jazz Festival.

Understand the context by trying the dances or singing songs. It’s a great opportunity to play your instrument in a 'folky' style, and expand your repertoire.
