—BLACK TIE— I have heard somewhere that we German Hungarians like to be seen. I don’t know where that idea came about but thinking about it, I can’t help but think it's true. We like wearing our club colors, our tracht, and our crest. We like appearing in uniform to all the places we go no matter the fact that most of our faces say “German Hungarians,” without the use of one letter. We also like wearing our best out on a Saturday night with shoes shined, ties perfectly tied, hair combed nicely or done up. We like gowns and tuxedos, suits and cocktail dresses. We like wristwatches, necklaces, and makeup and pocket squares. It’s no doubt then that in an age when sweat pants and sneakers (untied) rule the day we German Hungarians still celebrate our yearly Anniversary with a Gala affair; Black Tie Suggested. On Saturday, March 30, 2019, please join us for the 109th Anniversary Banquet with our usual flair! This time it is taking place at the Trifecta Sporting Club. Where’s that you ask? I think you might have been there before. It's at the familiar address of 4666 E Bristol Road, Feasterville, PA 19053. Don't worry, the usual entertainment will be on hand with the Heimatklänge Orchestra providing music and the dance group is sure to make a performance.

Inevitably, I realize that things seem to go the most smoothly when I have time, and inspiration, to write articles, editorials, and entertain-

ment reviews about everything and anything we do. There is the age-old complaint many have of “writer’s block,” which more often than not, for me, is really just an
