Monochrone maestro & design legend Christian Liaigre studios has collaborated on new interiors with the Parisian Hotel Costes. The new furniture created for it has become a capsule collection available through Liaigre showrooms.

Monochrome is at the heart of my design - the classic timeless palette of black meets white & all in-between - is the reason why we have this magazine. There are several interior designers who incorporate it into their projects & style, and though they may not necessarily encompass their mantra to this palette, they undoubtedly urilize it to create beautiful homes. Here I shall showcase 3 designers whom influence me & use monochrome schemes in these stunning images.

NICOLE HOLLIS is one of the finest & accomplished interior designers to come from San Francisco. Her refined & timeless style with its monochromatic flair is inspired by fine art & fashion that very much relates to my own personal style & how I approach design. Furthermore, she released her own book CURATED INTERIORS in 2020 & has been on the Top 100 lists of architects & interior designers by the likes of ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST, 1STDIBS, ELLE DECOR & INTEIOR DESIGN MAGAZINE. Russian born-and-based designer NIKITA LASTOVSKY launched his design studio in 2019 & has since worked on some of the worlds most luxurious projects.

Utilising eclectic naterials, rich textures & drawing inspiration from European modernism he creates broodingly dark interiors with a minimalist style. Not only do the design studio work on architecture & interiors but also create custom furniture to create Turnkey projects that have culminated in a beautiful hotel & spa.

KELLY HOPPEN needs no introduction.

Arguably one of the worlds most famous & successfull interior designers. Her iconic East meets West style with a neutral palette has garnered her international acclaim with projects ranging from private residences around the globe to hotels & resorts & even cruise ships. With over 40 years worth of experience she has written over 10 books educating us all in how to style our homes like the experts. I personally love how she uses alot of black & white in her designs such as her own home that is truly besutiful.
