With origins dating back to the mid-nineteent Monkton Senior School's architecture is comp beautifully maintained gardens. Guests could enjoy croquet with arrival drinks or opt for a more tranquil experience in our quiet courtyard spaces which offer a serene escape for relaxation. Please note that while we do not hold a license for marriage ceremonies on site, we host Wedding Receptions at our venues. Couples can choose from a variety of local alternatives for their ceremony. Please note these charges are Venue Hire only and do not include event catering, or Marquee hire costs.
Booking Notes
Hiring the Dining Room and Old Hall will include a commitment to book our in-house caterers for your event.
External caterers should only be sourced for Marquee Events on Longmead or at All Hallows.
Minimum guest numbers expected for each event - 70 guests
An evening bar can be provided with a minimum spend of £500.00, should this not be reached the remaining amount will be added to your bill.
We are no smoking/no vaping site.
Evening entertainment and music should be turned off by 11.30pm, with carriages at midnight.
Meal choices should be made allowing for one of each course, special dietary requirements will be catered for on an individual basis.
A deposit of £1000.00 will be required to secure the booking date, the date will not be secured until the deposit is received. Full payment should be made one month before your event.
