Warm memories of Athens

Warm memories of Athens When so cold outside, dark and gloomy memories of the fantastic moments that we spent in Athens at the beginning of November last year. Twelve students, including myself, and two teachers from our school ZSP No. 1 in Barlinek, had the pleasure to take part in other exchange students, which was held within the project " We make our dreams come true about education and work in the EU countries" from EU program Eramus+ . It was attended by the 12 students and 2 teachers from the School of Trade in Zagreb, and 26 students and 3 teachers from the 2 nd High School of Vrilissia Athens.

Day one 11.07.2016 (Monday) At 11:30 we set out on a journey by bus, which took us to the airport to Berlin. They did not leave us excited, because most of us have had the opportunity to experience their first airplane flight. It was an amazing experience for us. After the flight from Berlin to Athens boarded the bus that took us to the school Vrilissa 2nd High School in Athens, where the families were waiting for us, who had to stay during the entire stay in Greece. Before the meeting we had the opportunity to get acquainted with their peers through social networking sites and email. To the homes of their "hosts" - our host families, we arrived at about 10p.m. (I might add that Greece is one hour later than us ...). We did not have that day a lot of free time, but it was certainly an eventful day. Although the trip was very exciting, everyone felt fatigue.

Day two 08.11.2016 (Tuesday) The first attraction that was waiting for us on the second day of the exchange was welcome, the presentation and a brief presentation of the partner countries, during which we could see the famous Zorba the Greek or learn a little more about Greece and Croatia. One of the participants exchangeDamian Ladra has prepared a short video showing Poland together and sang the song "Hey hawks" and danced the dance of the Belgian, then we conquered the hearts of our new colleagues, who are willing to join us. We also took part in workshops depicting the education system in the partner countries. After class we went to a restaurant together to enjoy traditional Greek dishes. When our hunger is sated we continued the trip - our next stop was the olive mill, where we could learn and see how it is produced. It was a small factory building, size of our local station Orlen. Inside, however, we observed everything carefully and asked our questions to one of the employees. Busy day ended approx. at 5 p.m. and in the evening all participants exchange met in a pizzeria to eat dinner together and get to know.

Day three 11.09.2016 (Wednesday)
