Easily Document Data – an app for farm management

John Deere Operations Center allows you to create reports on fertilizer, spraying and other field-based work carried out on connect John Deere in-cab displays. Analyse this data through your phone whilst using your computer to set up work, create reports and monitor, plan and maximise your farm or turfs business’ potential.

Primary uses of the Operations Center and JDLink:

DAY IN THE LIFE – SERVICE TECHNICIAN

What does a Mona Tractors service technician’s day look like?

Our service technician’s perform diagnostics, service and repairs on all types of agricultural and groundcare machinery. No two days are the same. Today we will be following Owain out and about.

Getting ready for the day

Our service vans are fully stocked with the latest diagnostic tools, power tools and essential gear, so we can efficiently manage tasks ranging from everyday maintenance to more complicated repairs. With the van packed and the digital job list in hand from our workshop Service Manager, Owain is all set to hit the road, prepared for any challenges that may come his way!

First job of the day

Owain’s first job of the day is a 1500hr service on a 6120M. A service is a good way of checking over the machine and helps spot potential problems before they occur. An Expert Check is carried out if requested.

After Owain follows the service schedule and completes all his paperwork he leaves the site

clean and tidy like he found it.

Lunch time

With our customers scattered throughout the countryside, technicians find themselves on the road for a significant portion of their day. They often grab lunch while travelling.

Second Job – Software on tractor

Owain’s second job of the day is to install software onto a tractor to program additional keys for the customer. To do this the technician will plug in to the tractor and use John Deere’s Service Advisor to program software to allow the additional key.

Final job

The last job of the day Owain has on his list is to repair a belt on a John Deere Ride-On mower. With skill and precision, he will ensure the machine is up and running smoothly once again.

Wrapping up for the day

As the day comes to a close, Owain will return to the depot. He will restock the van with parts from our inventory and review the upcoming day’s schedule. Before wrapping up, he takes a moment to complete any necessary paperwork and share a summary of his day. Ready to do it all again tomorrow!

MAINTENANCE PLANS

What is a Maintenance plan?

This is where we calculate the value of your servicing for a specific term, based on your estimated annual usage, upon signing the value of the plan, this can then be paid monthly, quarterly or at any interval to suit your cashflow, by standing order.

My tractor is 10 years old, can I put a maintenance plan on it?

There is no age limit as to the machine the plan is to be applied too, likewise we can put plans on tractors, loadalls, combines, foragers or even Gators.

What happens if I sell my tractor halfway through the plan?

The plan can facilitate cancellations so that you only pay for the servicing you have had.

What happens if I finish paying but haven’t had all my services?

Then Mona Tractors will come and do the services when they are due.

Why is this a benefit when I can just pay whenever a service is carried out?

The benefit is that by entering into a plan you fix your costs for the term of plan, allowing you to know your servicing costs to the penny every month. We also know that servicing modern, sophisticated machines can lead to bills that some months can disruptive to cashflow, so a plan would ease this.

If I take out an extended warranty, do I need a maintenance plan?

Extended warranty is to cover your machine in the event of a mechanical breakdown. A maintenance plan is purely to provide servicing at the time it is due., and is a prerequisite of any of the extended warranties we offer. That said, you can take out a maintenance plan without an extended warranty, but you cannot have an extended warranty without a supporting maintenance plan.

Service includes:

✓ Pass certificate on completion of required work.

Comply with Loler and Puwer Regulations with a BAGMA certified Thorough Examination.

Regular testing is a legal requirement and must be carried out every 12 months or every 6 months for lifting equipment.

Grillo Climber 10 AWD 27 is a truly unique hydrostatic brush-cutter. The permanent 4WD system combined with the 27 HP powerful engine offer brilliant performances on severe slopes and lowadherence grounds. The Grillo FD 900 is a hydrostatic out-front mower with permanent four-wheel drive, even on a tight turning radius. It has a 126 cm front cutting deck and a grass catcher with a raised discharge at 195 cm height and 30 cm overhang. Because of its performance and features, this mower is suitable for maintenance of large areas and gardens or parks full of plants.
