Inspired by the poetry of Patrick Kavanagh, Theresa’s practice is focussed on contemporary lace design and its interaction of other materials. In effect a conversation between contemporary Carrickmacross Lace and poetry.’
Since first discovering the beauty of this traditional County Monaghan craft, Theresa’s practice has evolved through the years, always pushing the boundaries of lacemaking while finding her own voice and aesthetic.
The exhibition will be available to view from 21st Sept until the 1st Oct.
