WPRF Soccer Leagues promote skill development, teamwork, good sportsmanship, equal participation & fun! 4K – K and 1st-2nd Grade teams’ practice at local parks and 3rd – 9th Grade teams’ practice at Mindiola and all teams are coached by volunteer coaches. All league games will be played at Mindiola.

What you need to know… 1. Teams are organized according to practice time and day. Practice time is one hour. Participants should sign up for the grade level they are in during the 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR.

3. Participants will be notified by coaches following the Soccer Coaches Meeting.

Please indicate your interest in coaching on the registration form. All lead volunteer coaches will be subject to Background Checks. Volunteers, please fill out a Volunteer Background Check Form when signing up your child, found at www.waukesha-wi.gov. 5. Please indicate participant’s shirt size on registration form: YS = youth small (6-8) YM = youth medium (10-12), YL = youth large (14-16), AS = adult small, AM = adult medium, AL = adult large, AXL = adult extra large. Registrations received after the deadline; shirt size is not guaranteed. 6. Wisconsin State Law requires a Parent or Guardian to sign a Concussion Information & Release Form prior to your child playing ball. Concussion form will be signed online when signing up online otherwise will need to be signed in person. 7. Required equipment: Shin Guards. Recommended equipment: soccer cleats – will not have a front toe cleat, soccer ball

Spring into Soccer

Spring into Soccer is an introductory class to the beautiful game we all love. Focus is on age-appropriate progressions for each skill, with main coaching points that are explained with age-appropriate language. We will train our Prestars (34), Kinderstars (5-7), and Prepstars (8-10) in categories of dribbling, passing, defending, shooting, and ends with a World Cup competition. Youth Pickleball Lessons and Open Play

Are you looking for a new sport your child can play? Look no further, Pickleball for youth is here! Pickleball is a super-fun game with a funny name – a blend of tennis and ping-pong played on a badminton-sized court with a low net. Fun drills and simple games will have the kids actively moving while developing eye-hand coordination, improving balance and agility while building confidence and good sportsmanship.
