This 3-day camp will cover the fundamentals of baseball – hitting, pitching, catching, throwing, base running as well as infield and outfield play. Games are also part of the daily schedule. Please bring a baseball glove, bat and helmet. Campers can leave their baseballs at home! Baseball Camp instruction is provided by Moeller coaches assisted by current Moeller baseball players. This camp will teach the fundamentals of basketball, teamwork and good sportsmanship through various skill sessions, competitions, and games. Basketball Camp instruction is provided by Moeller coaches assisted by current and former Moeller basketball players. Campers can leave their basketballs at home! Each participant will receive a basketball and camp t-shirt. Participants in full-day camp (grades 4-8) must bring their own peanut & tree-nut free lunch. Football Camp

This camp will teach football fundamentals. Campers will be introduced to play within several position groups and will participate in various competitions. Fun and Games Camp

This camp will teach the fundamentals of a variety of sports and playground games including wiffle ball, kickball, soccer, basketball, T-ball and volleyball (beach ball). Campers will be encouraged to develop their coordination, balance and sportsmanship skills. Fun and Games instruction is provided by Moeller staff assisted by current Moeller students.
This camp includes lunch provided by SAGE Dining, Moeller’s food service program. The peanut-free and allergenfriendly menu will include a variety of options, such as chicken tenders, hamburgers, fruit/vegetables and cookies. Menu details will be released prior to camp start.
FUNdamentals Camp
Grades 2-6

Wrestling Camp – The Basics Grades 1-6, Boys and Girls

3D Maker Camp

This camp will offer participants the opportunity to experiment and learn the principles of board game design using 3D tools. Over the course of the week, campers will develop a unique board game concept using new, state-of-the-art technology housed at Moeller that will allow them to physically produce their creative game pieces to accompany their board design. Software used includes Tinkercad, Adobe and Text Edit.
Campers who register to do both Mobile Application Development (MAD) Camp and 3D Maker Camp are welcome to stay on Moeller’s campus to eat lunch under the guidance of camp counselors. Campers must bring their own peanut/tree nut-free lunch.
Animation Movie Production (AMP) Camp

Animation Movie Production (AMP) Camp invites campers to be part of the entire movie-making process. Participants will be introduced to storyboarding and planning, special effects (green screen, make-up, post-production), animation/graphic design, videography, and editing. Software used includes iMovie, Adobe Character Animator and GarageBand.

Art and Design Lab

Pack your imagination it’s time for an art adventure with a global infusion! In this hands-on Studio camp, participants will explore a wide variety of materials and experiences as they focus on developing their creative skills in a fun camp atmosphere in the new Art Lab located in the Innovation Hub. Participants will construct a variety of works culminating in a student-designed exhibition on the final day of camp when all are welcome to join us for the final hour. Art Camp instruction is provided by Moeller faculty.
Big Moe Broadcasting Camp
Grades 5-8, Boys only
Monday, June 1 – Thursday, June 4; 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

This camp is a hands-on introduction to the world of WMOE Broadcasting led by Big Moe Barrett, manager of WMOE and director of community engagement, and Nathan Eten, Moeller’s broadcast director. Campers will spend the week creating their own video and podcasting segments – from pre- to post-production. Participants will learn how to storyboard, narrate/interview subjects, direct/shoot film, record and edit. Campers will have access to Moeller’s new state-of-the-art multimedia recording studio, complete with cameras, a green screen, sets, lighting and Rodecaster Pro podcasting equipment. No experience necessary!
Chemistry Camp
Grades 7-8, Boys and Girls

This co-ed camp will teach chemistry through numerous hands-on activities and labs. Participants will study density, concentration, physical/chemical changes, freezing point depression and rates of reactions. Please note that labs and demonstrations will be NEW to those students who attended Chemistry Camp in summer 2025.
Campers who register for both Chemistry and Engineering are permitted to remain at Moeller for lunch under the guidance of camp counselors. Campers must bring their own peanut/tree nut-free lunch.

Engineering Camp

High School Placement Test Prep Camp
Grade 8, Boys only
Session 1: Monday, July 27 – Friday, July 31; 8:30-10 a.m. OR 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Session 2: Monday, Aug. 3 – Friday, Aug. 7; 8:30-10 a.m. OR 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

This camp works to strengthen test-taking skills, master time management strategies, motivate and build selfconfidence. Participants will learn what to expect on HSPT test day. All students in each session will report on the Friday of their camp week at 8:30 a.m. for the HSPT practice test and will be dismissed at 12 p.m. Each student will need to purchase a test prep book and complete a practice test prior to camp. We will release the book title and instructions for the practice test this spring. Moeller will offer a free HSPT Refresher session to camp participants in mid-November, which is included in the price of this camp.
Lego Stop Motion Animation Movie Production (LAMP) Camp
Grades 5-8, Boys and Girls

This camp will teach participants to create an animated music video and mini-movie using Legos. Campers will learn the skill of stop motion animations, motion graphics and visual effects using iMovie, GarageBand and Stop Motion Studio.

Man of Moeller Camp

This camp combines our former leadership camp with a new twist! Participants will spend the morning exploring what it takes to become Remarkable leaders in mind, body and spirit. After lunch, campers will be introduced to life skills that will help them flourish as they grow into young adulthood. Topics will include job interview training, first dance preparation, car maintenance and the fine art of conversation. Camp curriculum also includes discussions using the book “The Long Way Down” by Jason Reynolds. Campers must provide their own peanut/tree nut-free lunch.
Medieval Maker Camp

This camp invites participants to embark on a thrilling quest to defend their honor as makers through creativity and hands-on challenges. Campers will create catapults, craft custom shields and more with the goal of testing their creations in friendly competitions. Blending a dash of history, innovation, and adventure, this camp lets young men build, imagine, and conquer like true Crusaders.

Mobile Application Development (MAD) Camp

This camp allows participants to create their own video game! Using the latest technology and software, campers will design an application or game for mobile devices (iPhone, Android phones, iPod Touch, iPad, Android Tablets). Campers will be introduced to the rapid prototype development model and will have the option of creating an app or game from scratch or using an existing template for inspiration. Campers will learn basic coding, character animation and application layout/design. Software used in the camp include GameSalad, Adobe Photoshop, GarageBand and Text Edit.

Moeller Theater Camp
Grades 5-8, Boys and Girls

Theater Camp will develop campers' creative talents and interests via activities, games, various drama workshops and live performance. Storytelling, improv, creating characters and playwriting will all be included in this inventive week. No previous experience is necessary in theatre; everyone has a creative streak. Details to be released regarding an end-ofcamp performance on Friday in the Paul E. Flaig Performing Arts Center. Camp instruction is provided by Moeller’s Writer in Residence, Mr. Girard, a Moeller English teacher of 22 years with an MA and MFA in creative writing, playwright/director, and a NY Times best-selling author.
Robotics Camp
Grades 6-8, Boys and Girls

This co-ed camp encourages participants to explore their creativity in designing, building and working with robots. The inquiry-driven approach allows everyone to have fun while exploring robotics, whether new or well experienced in this field of study. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate ESports Camp Grades 5-8, Boys and Girls

Get ready to create, imagine, and explore! In Studio Art Explorers Camp, young artists will dive into the exciting world of art-making using a wide variety of materials and techniques. From painting and printmaking to sculpture and mixed media, campers will learn how to turn their creative ideas into unique works of art while developing skills in observation, craftsmanship, and self-expression. Each day brings new projects and artistic adventures inspired by famous artists, cultures, and the world around us. Campers will build confidence as they experiment, collaborate, and curate their own mini-exhibition to share with family and friends on the final day. Video Games: From Campaigns to Conclusions Grades 7-8, Boys only

This camp will teach participants all about story composition by studying characterization, plot maps, literary terms, grammar, and other elements by using the campaigns and stories of famous and modern video games. The camp will spur critical and creative thinking by asking why creators make the decisions they do and what makes a game's story stand the test of time. When not analyzing the literary components of games, campers will be working on two projects. The first project will include planning and creating a new game story as a creative writing exercise. The second project will include writing thesis statements and essays based on video games played in class or one played on a camper's own time. This camp offers campers a chance to develop their writing skills while exploring their passion for gaming. Camp instruction is provided by Moeller faculty.
