Doris, how did you first get into modeling?
My very first shooting was at the age of 12 for a milk advertisement. From that moment on, I fell in love with the camera and the creative energy on set. Over time, modeling became more than a job – it’s my way of telling stories and expressing different sides of myself and to explore beautiful exotic places, alone or even better together with my family.
What does “lifestyle” mean to you personally?
For me, lifestyle is a conscious choice. I focus on healthy food, yoga, mental balance, especially through good sleep and creating many beautiful experiences. It’s not about being perfect – it’s about living in a way that feels light, joyful, and inspiring, surrounded by nature, laughter, and good people.
You’re a single mom – how do you balance career and family life?
With a mix of organization, flexibility, and a lot of humor. My son is my biggest motivation and i love him soooo much. I plan my shootings and projects so we have as much quality time together as possible and my parents help me a lot with giving my little son care and love
What has been your most emotional moment as a mother?
Definitely the birth of my son – and the first time he said “Mama.” Those little big moments are priceless. They keep me grounded and give me strength, no matter how hectic life gets.
How important is your family in your journey?
I feel incredibly grateful that both my parents are still alive and so supportive. My mom has even modeled with me several times in Asia, and my little boy Rey Gabriel has joined me in front of the camera too. My dad helps by caring for Gabriel with all the love of a proud grandfather. Their support makes everything possible.
What advice would you give other women who want to combine modeling and motherhood?
Believe in yourself and your dreams, even if others tell you it’s too hard. Plan ahead, build a strong support network, and be honest with yourself about your limits. Most importantly: never let anyone tell you that you have to choose between career and child.
Do you have many friends in the modeling world? I’ve met some truly inspiring people through modeling – strong, talented, and kind. On the photos you can see a beautiful Thai model and healer Don’t ask her age – she’s already a wise woman who looks much younger than she is. Getting to know girls like her makes the journey even more meaningful.
What can we expect from you next on Instagram?
Authentic glimpses into my life as a model and mom, lots of inspiration around fitness, healthy eating, and spirituality – and of course, new photoshoots. I love taking my community behind the scenes and sharing real moments, not just the polished ones.

Can you tell us a little about you?
My name is Nika, I’m a photographer based in Thailand. I specialize in women’s portraiture, helping women reconnect with themselves, feel confident, and express their story through imagery. With a background in makeup, hairstyling, and styling, I create complete transformations from the first detail to the final photograph.
How and when did you get into photography?
I started with makeup, hair, and clothes styling, creating full looks from the ground up. Very soon I realized I didn’t just want to prepare women for a shoot, I wanted to capture the whole story. That’s how photography naturally became part of my journey.
What does photography mean to you?
For me, photography is a way to hold presence. It’s not only about the final image, but about creating an experience where a woman feels seen, valued, and connected with herself.
Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. I see myself as a women’s photographer. My style is feminine, natural, and storytelling. I work with soft light, natural environments, and authentic emotions. Every session is a space for a woman to open up and tell her story.
Where do you get inspiration from?
From women, their energy, vulnerability, and strength. And also from nature, music, and movement. Living on an island gives me endless inspiration: the ocean, the light, the rhythm of life here.
Do you think in advance what you want in the picture?
Yes and no. I usually come with a vision, a mood, or a story in mind, but I leave space for spontaneity. The strongest frames often appear in the in-between moments.
Studio, on location or both?
When I lived in the city in Russia, I worked mostly in the studio. But since moving to the island in Thailand, my work has shifted fully to locations. I love natural light, the ocean, the jungle, and authentic spaces, they give depth and freedom to my photography.
Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?
A paid professional. Photography is both my passion and my career, and I take it seriously while keeping creativity and joy alive.
What has been your most memorable session and why?
A women’s portrait session where my client came in feeling insecure but slowly opened up during the shoot. By the end she was radiant and free, and later told me it changed the way she saw herself That’s when I know photography becomes more than images, it becomes transformation.
Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens?
Actually, I shoot Sony now, and before that I worked with Pentax. So I’ve never really used Canon or Nikon :) At the moment, I use the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8. It’s versatile and practical, but I wouldn’t say I have a “favorite lens.” I don’t attach myself to equipment. For me, the essence is always the woman in front of the camera and her story.
What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? Don’t focus only on technique. Focus on people. Learn how to connect, create trust, and make someone feel comfortable in front of your lens. That’s where the magic happens. And don’t be afraid to value your work fairly from the very beginning.
What do you think of our new magazine?
I think it feels fresh, inspiring, and necessary. I love how it gives space to different voices in photography and supports creativity at every stage of the journey. https://www.instagram.com/nikabaevaphoto - https://www facebook.com/nika.baeva/
Can you tell us a little about you?
Hi! My name is Liliia. I have been taking photographs for over ten years, and I also paint pictures. This year, I received a bachelor's degree as a painter.
How and when did you get into photography?
When I was a teenager, my parents bought an inexpensive Canon camera, which I enjoyed using. Around the same time, my friend enrolled in art college, where they taught photography course. I liked looking at my friend's photos and decided to give it a try myself.
What does photography mean to you?
For me, photography is closely intertwined with painting, and these are two art forms that I cannot imagine myself without; they are part of who I am.
Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. I don't like to limit myself and try to experiment with photography But most of all, I like to shoot fine art with a touch of picturesqueness and light airiness.
Where do you get inspiration from?
When I need inspiration, I look at paintings by my favourite artists, or discover new ones. I rewatch films that I like.
Studio, on location or both?
I like working both in the studio and with natural light outdoors. It depends on the tasks I set myself and the results I want to achieve.
Do you think in advance what you want in the picture?
Before the shoot takes place, I think through the idea in advance, look for a model and suitable clothing and location. Sometimes there are spontaneous shoots, but more often than not, everything is planned out.
Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?
I can't say that photography brings in a lot of money right now, let's just say it's normal. But in the current situation, and I live in a war zone, people are not really interested in photo shoots. Nevertheless, there is always room for beautiful shots, regardless of the circumstances.
What has been your most memorable session and why?
Every photo shoot is a unique experience of collaboration with people and nature. But most of all, I think, I remember the photo shoot with the knights: I was invited to take pictures of a hand-carved throne and play around with it with the help of reenactors. It was very interesting to recreate the medieval atmosphere with the king and knight in real armour.
Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? Canon, 50 mm is my favorite.
What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? Don’t wait for the «perfect’ moment» — start shooting now. Every photo you take teaches you something, even the imperfect ones. The more you practice, the more your style will find you.
What do you think of our new magazine?
I think it’s inspiring and beautifully put together — it feels fresh, creative, and full of great energy

Can you tell us a little about you?
My name is Manuel Kaim, I was born in 1974 in Wels, Upper Austria. I am happily married to my wonderful wife Petra, and together we have two beautiful daughters who bring so much joy into our lives.
How and when did you get into photography?
Photography entered my life in 2015, rather unexpectedly, through my wife, who is also active in this field but infornt of the camera. She kind of introduced me to it, and very quickly I not only learned but truly fell in love with the art of photography
What does photography mean to you?
For me, photography is about capturing the soul of a moment. It goes beyond how something looks — it’s about how it feels. A photograph should carry the emotion long after the shutter has clicked.
Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.
My style is deeply rooted in black-and-white portraiture. I aim to capture raw emotions, honest expressions, and the timeless essence of each individual. By stripping away color, I reduce the image to light, shadow, and soul — creating portraits that feel intimate, authentic, and enduring.
Do you think in advance what you want in the picture?
Yes and no. I usually have a vision — a mood, a feeling, an essence I want to capture. But when working with people, spontaneity is key Some of the most powerful portraits happen in those unplanned moments when someone forgets about the camera and shows their true self.
Rene @millechnerrene/ @elifchiquet/
Pichler Petra @pichlerpetra70/
Where do you get inspiration from?
My greatest inspiration comes from people themselves — their emotions, their stories, their unique presence. I am equally inspired by the play of light and shadow in everyday life and by the timeless beauty of classic black-andwhite photography. Often, inspiration arises simply from observing quietly and allowing moments to reveal themselves.
Studio, on location or both? Both — each has its own unique possibilities.
Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? I would describe myself as a semi-professional, positioned somewhere in between.
Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? Neither — I work with Sony cameras and Sony lenses, which I absolutely love.
What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? Don’t chase perfection — chase connection. Develop your own voice and focus on building genuine relationships with your clients. Technical skills will naturally grow over time, but what truly makes your work unique is authenticity and the experience you create for the person in front of your camera.
What do you think of our new magazine?
I think your magazine is truly inspiring. It offers photographers and creatives a platform to share their vision and connect with a wider audience. The design and curation feel both fresh and thoughtful. It’s exciting to see a publication that celebrates not only artistry but also storytelling.

Parlez-moi de vous;

Can you tell us a little about you? My name is Magdalena, and I am photographer based in Szczecin, Poland. I specialize in female photography but I also cooperate with people from polish world of culture and entertainment ( comedians, actors, singers, writers, athletes etc.). I am an author and co-author of photo exhibitions, magazine covers, posters. Also photography teacher who loves traveling and addicted movie watcher.
How and when did you get into photography? Since I remember I was always fascinated by beautiful photos, but I never grabbed the camera myself. I always stood aside and helped create them. I was inventing nice and interesting places or unique frames. I started taking photos by myself very late, few years after my studies. When I started, I just couldn’t stop. I discovered that creation process is more enjoying than watching creation. Finally I could catch things I really love like sunrises and sunsets. During these years my photography has evolved and it still changing.
What does photography mean to you? I will not be unique, because I must say that photography mean a lot for me. It takes huge part of my everyday life. Thanks photography I can learn more about myself, about other people and whole world which around us. This is the perfect way to become more humble and tolerant. The most beautiful thing in photography is that we all look at the same sun, but everyone see it in a different way. Photography broadens the horizons.
Where do you get inspiration from? I know that it can sounds banal, but everything what surrounds me is an inspiration for me. Sometimes is an movie, sometimes is a person – his/her face , character, way of dressing etc. It can be place like an restaurant, street with special character or even a unique tree or building. Something new, something old, structure, melody, color. Really everything.
Joanna Knasinska
Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. I love black and white photography. I like to catch how lights play with shadows, show strong or delicate contrasts – depends on situation. This is not the only kind of photography which I take, but still, my favourite. Most often natural light photography, preferably without additional light sources. But what is the most important – photos full of emotions. I like to bring out individual character of the person and show in on the photo. I also like to show a different, less know side of concrete per-son. Very often I try to break the rules or do something crazy, get out of the comfort zone.
Do you think in advance what you want in the picture? It depends of what I want to do. If this is for example fashion lookbook then I prefer to prepare everything before. Models, make-up, place – everything what bring concrete effect. BUT…maybe this will not sound professional, I am this kind of person who like to work spontaneously. Mostly I have only sketch in my head like place and clothes or only place, and later I match and draw the remaining elements of the puzzles. So very often I improvise to received this special effect, so-called HERE AND NOW. Everyone who work with me should be prepared for everything.
Studio, on location or both? I work a lot in a studio, which gives a more of “controlled opportunities”, and help models and clients to feel very comfortable but I feel that still photos are not in 100% real. Of course this in only my opinion but I think that other locations and outdoor awakens such emotions that work in the studio will not wake up. Real joy, fear or delight.
Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? For the beginning it was only my hobby full of happiness and joy. I treated photography like a springboard from everyday life. One day in my life changed everything and photography became my profession. Firstly I was scared that it can ruined my passion for photography, but now I can say that this passion is even stronger.
What has been your most memorable session and why? Once again I won’t be original because I must say that all my sessions are memorable. Why? Because I met new people, I discover new things and I learn something about myself and about my work. Ever session bring emotions what is amazing. Ok, maybe I never done session during parachute jump or rollercoaster ride but everything is still ahead of me.
Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? I am working on Canon but I am not a member of any team – and I am not afraid to say that, There are many very good camaras of different brands. In my opinion, good photo you can take by cell phone – only technical aspects can limit you (but how long?). For now my fav lens are Canon 50 mm 1.4 and Sigma art 85 mm 1.4
What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? The most important thing is believe in yourself and don’t look on the others. Be focused on your plans and slowly day by day try to reach them. Never stop learn new things and improve your skills to make them unique. Keep your eyes and mind open and never close on anything.
What do you think of our new magazine? For sure this is a great place where people from all over the world can share and show their work, life, passions and unique skills. A place where you can find a lot of inspiration and in which we can feel that every one of as is a part of huge artistic family For me is a honor to be a part of it and I would like to thank every reader of Modellenland for taking time to read the interview and get close to my work.

Can you tell us a little about you?
Hey I'm Cristiano Gennaretti AKA Giastur Roderick. I am a creative person that uses his creativity mixing it with beautiness and freedom. And in real life i have a boring clerck job.
How and when did you get into it photography?
I always had a camera in my hand during my school trips, so it was natural to use it also in my private life. Why do i have to shoot to have memory of other people but not to realize my ideas?
What does photography mean to you?
Photography is beautiness and freedom. Photography is aesthetics, not ethics.
Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.
I think I am acquiring a personal style. Anyway, a seek for perfection, so i spend hours in retouching skin and hair, and i like beauty shoots.
Where do you get inspiration from?
I read and study many “great photographers”, so they are inspiring me even when I don't immediately understand it. But I think i also get inspirations from film, books and other photo I see on socials.
Do you think in advance what you want in the picture?
Yes, I write down many pages of text and photo-references for each mood board I do.
Studio, on location or both?
Both, even if I prefer to have full control of the light, so I did most of the times studio shooting.
Would you consider yourself a paid professional? I am an hobbyst. I don’t know if I will change my mind.
Nikon or Canon? Favourite lens?
Nikon, and i usually mount on it a 85mm f 1.8
What has been your most memorable session and why?
I have 3 sessions that I'm particularly fond of. One was in april 2019, wher I was at the sea and I had my first shooting whit Francesca Cimirro, a MUA that is my “right-hand guy” in every shooting I did since then (every photo you see in this article has her Make up). The second one is the one I did in april 2022, because we did a 3 moods shooting that was my best session until the one we did on june of this year. And the third is the one of June 2025 in which we experimented with a red fabric and we recreate a moon with lights on a black wall because it was the more creative till now by far. Ah, I have do add to the list all shootings with actresses: they bring ideas on the set that are difficult to find in standard models (even if I usually shot with only creative models)
What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? I think anyone will have to pursue his goals, to gain both by exercise and study 12 What do you think of our new magazine? I think that if an online magazine gets over 10 years, this means it has a solid background, an excellent editorial staff, and a loyal fan base.

Can you tell us a little about you? I have been a professional model for 16 years, I have been in this business because I found myself in it and I love what I do. I have many successes behind me, big names and brands that I worked for and with which I still work today. I’ve traveled a lot, met a lot of people, made friends around the world, and I’m proud of every picture and video in my portfolio.
If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? I often get that question, and it's always the same answer, I wouldn't change anything about myself. I love myself as I am and I try to nurture and preserve my appearance and natural beauty
How did you start modelling? I entered the world of fashion as a child when I was only 10 years old. my parents enrolled me in a talent school and that's when I realized that I love what I still do today. More serious travels and engagements started at the age of 16, first in Prize, then in Milan, and then all over Europe. I lived in almost all the capital of fashion for about 3 years, and then there was no need for that anymore because jobs started to be scheduled directly and I had to travel according to the scheduled job. After conquering Europe, I moved to the American market and I have been there for the last 4 years, New York, Los Angeles and Miami are my new home :)
What do you think of the work as a model? Working as a model is not as easy a job as people think, it can be extremely hard, difficult, long ... filming sometimes lasts from early morning until late at night, preparing for a show where you go out on the runway every few seconds lasts all day , when it's hard for you, when something hurts, it's your business, you are here to look the most beautiful you can and do your best. I love my job and through that love I somehow ignore it all and try to enjoy every one of my engagements.
What is your beauty regimen? The model must constantly work on itself, both on its exterior and on its interior (on its character, attitude, knowledge ...). Beauty must be nurtured and preserved in order to last as long as possible, and that does not mean surgery and changing personal descriptions, but healthy care and care of your face, body, hair, skin, nails I try to train regularly, I care your face in Epic Clinic with my dear Dr. Marija Bradic Vasic who is phenomenal and who is responsible for my healthy and great look;
What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others? I think it's a character, each of us radiates his energy, that's how we all differ. Personality and personality is something that describes us and presents us to others. I am always positive, I try to convey that to the people around me, be it friends and family or the team in which I work.
What are your plans for the future? At the time of the pandemic, I dedicated myself a little to my other love, which is design. I like to create, to create, to change the look of both the interior and clothing. I started my own Fashion Bones brand, and devoted myself a little to that business. I have a lot of plans for the future and some of them are definitely to stay in the world of fashion, work as a model and deal with design.
What are some of your favorite experiences so far? Certainly it's travel, meeting new people, other cultures ... But if we look exclusively at the modeling business, it would certainly be a collaboration with Armani, phenomenal Paris, Milan and New York fashion weeks, phenomenal California that I consider my second home, no forgetful Miami that has its emperors, Tokyo that evokes the most beautiful memories ... it's hard to single out just a few from so many experiences and travels :)
Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling? My advice is to be your own, be what you are, work on yourself and build yourself. Never give up, this job like any other brings ups and downs, one closed door opens ten new ones. Have your goal, love what you do, but above all love yourself
What do you think of the magazine? I am someone who loves magazines, i like to read and enjoy it. I am not someone who blindly follows fashion and trends, but every magazine related to that has my attention and finds its place in my home. Modellenland is a magazine that follows everything I love, editorials, fashion, art so much beauty in one place. Great praise for the effort and work, I wish you a lot of success in your future work as well as many, many new releases :)

Can you tell us a little about you? My name’s Gabriella Moraes I’m 22 years old and I’m from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I’ve been modeling professionally for 3 years, currently I’m in Taiwan but I went to China, Vietnam, Malaysia and Hong Kong. I love what I do and I feel grateful to be exactly where I always wanted.
If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? Definitely I would like to enjoy more my free time, allow myself to be out of routine, to enjoy the moment, sometimes I can be very focus on my job that I forget to have more fun, find the balance between work and social life will be perfect to me!
How did you start modelling? I grew up following Gisele’s Bündchen career so I always wanted to be a model but it was only after finishing my high school that I decided to look for a way to work with it. Then I found out a modeling course in my city called School Models. I spend 1 year learning how to became a model with them and then my teacher and scouter Moisés Karran (also director by School Models) introduced me to the best agencies in Brazil. I signed a contract with a great agency and soon after I met my mother agency Madchen Models who is responsible for my international contracts. My first contract was in China with my 18s.
What do you think of the work as a model? There’s a Taylor Swift’s song where she said “We're happy, free, confused and lonely at the same time. It's miserable and magical.” and I think these verses can describe perfectly the modeling life. There are bad and good parts like every job. We feel pressure in many ways for example, it’s not a easy job like most of the people think, specially for who is starting, we hear “No” most of times, sometimes we have a job, sometimes we don’t so this is very stressful and unfortunately it’s a very competitive profession. I also think the fashion world has to be better, they need to include more profiles and bodies. We still have a long way to go about it. The good part it is we can meet wonderful people and get incredible experiences, meet really great photographers, designers… It’s a world with many talented people. The fact we can work around the world it’s something that makes me feel very grateful for the opportunity, I love that every country has their very own aesthetics for fashion jobs. Can you tell us a little about you? I am a professional photographer and retoucher from Ukraine. I have 14 years experience. I am engaged in commercial photography: beauty, fashion, product photography, as well as postproduction
How and when did you get into photography? I started taking pictures as a child with my dad's old film camera. My first models were the neighbor's cats. It was a fun game that eventually grew into a real hobby. 16 years ago, with the advent of the digital camera, this hobby gradually began to turn into a job.
What does photography mean to you? Photography is my life today. It is not only my source of income, but also what I really love to do. And really my passion. It means not only my own shootings, but also processing for other photographers.
Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. I can't say that I have any particular style. I like to try something new and unexpected for myself. I like to take on new challenges and constantly improve myself.
Where do you get inspiration from? Sometimes I see some thing or material and immediately start thinking how I can use it in my shooting, sometimes it's just a mood after a nature walking or watching a movie, and sometimes it's just some crazy idea that is born during shooting or project work.
Do you think in advance what you want in the picture? Usually it is a pre-planned image before shooting, but sometimes it happens that something does not go according to plan. Often you have to improvise and sometimes the result is very far from the original idea. But it's not bad - it's a creative process.
Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? Canon. But I think it doesn't matter what camera you shoot with. Canon 100 macro - just because I love perfect sharpness and clarity in the picture .
Studio, on location or both? I had my own studio where I could always implement 95% of all my ideas. Unfortunately, because of the war in my country now,I temporarily live in Germany and have not found an alternative yet.
Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? I started working as an amateur and didn't think that this would ever be my main source of income. I think that now I'm just a happy person, because my favorite interest is also my good profession
What has been your most memorable session? Perhaps the most unusual was the shooting in the studio on the eve of Christmas. It all started in a trite way: with a model dressed as Santa in front of a decorated Christmas tree. At some moment, the model took a cloth that is always in the studio and waved it in front of the lens. In the frame, the effect was so unexpected that we immediately forgot about the Christmas photo shoot. We immediately made an impromptu dress and filmed every movement of the model, trying to catch the effect of the flight of the cloth. These photos instantly hit the top! Subsequently, photo shoots in this style - with flying clothbecame very popular, starting a whole series in a similar entourage. At that moment, I realized that you do not need to get hung up on one idea. You need to notice every moment, because it is he who can be a great success.
What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? Perhaps my advice will seem commonplace , but I would advise you to shoot more and more often. and try yourself in different styles and directions. You may be surprised by the results of yourself.
What do you think of our new magazine? I want to thank your magazine for helping photographers to develop. For many creative people it is often very important that their work is noticed and appreciated.

A cut and color collection by Encarna Moreno & María Gómez
“CODEX” is a visual manifesto.
A collection that transforms hair into language, into symbol, into living geometry. Inspired by the fusion of the tribal and the digital, it explores how shape and color can encode personal identity in a new alphabet of beauty
The color palette plays with the softness of vanilla blonde, the contrasts of holographic pink, and the depth of graphite and black, creating a balance between the delicate and the radical. Everything is designed so that the color not only complements the cut, but also enhances it as a narrative element.
"CODEX" is not just a collection, it's a statement.
A creative hairstyling proposal that transcends aesthetics to tell stories through hair

Color as essence, poetry as soul.
Granada is a whisper of history and passion, a reflection of nuances that evoke beauty in its purest form. ALMA, the new 2025 collection by DOUSSE, immerses itself in this symphony of tones and emotions, inspired by García Lorca's poetic freedom to transform hair into a living work of art.
Mocha and chocolate tones emerge as absolute protagonists, enveloping the hair in an interplay of depth and warmth that evokes the mystery of Andalusian patios at dusk. The resplendent, luminous, and ethereal blondes capture the golden essence of the light that kisses the viewpoints at dawn. In every color, in every flash, the spirit of Granada vibrates: free, eternal, unforgettable.
Haircuts and hairstyles are born from the harmony between tradition and the avant-garde, exploring lines that flow with the naturalness of verses written in the wind. Shapes that breathe movement, textures that dialogue with light, and structures that tell stories without words.
To embody this vision, we are accompanied by the majesty of MONAE, whose haute couture embraces the essence of the collection with pieces that elevate each look to a universe of sophistication and art.
ALMA is not just a collection; it is a manifesto of beauty at its most poetic.
It is Granada in every strand, it is Lorca in every lock, it is color made emotional. Welcome to naturalness. Welcome to ALMA – DOUSSE 2025.

Barcelona, July 2025. This step-by-step guide walks you through the process of creating a creative hair color on a bob cut with diagonal stripes in pastel pink and turquoise green tones. Perfect for achieving a modern, vibrant, and delicate look. Follow each stage carefully to ensure a uniform, well-defined, and stylish result.
1. Evaluation and Preparation
- Assess the condition of the hair. If it is damaged, consider performing a strengthening treatment first.
- If the scalp is clean, wash with an alkaline shampoo.
- Dry the hair thoroughly before applying bleach.
2. Gentle Bleaching
- Goal: Lighten the hair to a level 10 (very light blonde), ideal for pastel tones.
- Use bleach with a 10-volume developer for more controlled, gentle lightening.
- Apply to dry hair, divided into 4 sections.
- Start with mid-lengths and ends; apply to roots only if necessary
- Monitor until the desired level is reached.
- Rinse, wash with a technical shampoo, and dry completely
3. Creative Sectioning
- Part the hair down the middle to divide it into two equal parts.
- Mark diagonal stripes from the temples toward the nape, in an inverted "V" shape or at a right angle.
- Isolate these stripes using foil or transparent plastic film.
4. Color Application
- Base color: pastel pink (you can mix intense pink with white conditioner or use a direct dye like "Rose Quartz").
- Apply pastel pink all over the hair except for the diagonal stripes.
- On the stripes, alternate between pastel turquoise green and pink (either more intense or the same pastel).
- Use a fine brush, following the diagonal design carefully.
- Protect each stripe with film or foil to avoid color bleeding.
5. Processing Time
- Let the color sit for 20 to 30 minutes, following the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Visually monitor how the pigment sets.
6. Rinse and Treatment
- Rinse with cold water, avoiding rubbing or mixing tones.
- Use a sulfate-free shampoo and a hydrating conditioner.
- Finish with a leave-in that offers thermal and color protection.
7. Cut and Styling
- Create a straight bob cut, with the ends slightly curved toward the face.
- Blow-dry with a flat brush and use a flat iron to emphasize the stripe design.
- Finish with a few drops of serum to add shine and definition.
Tips for Professionals
- If the hair is very porous, apply a pre-color treatment or porosity equalizer before using pastel dye for better adherence and even results.
- Pastel turquoise green can be made by mixing an intense turquoise with white diluter or a neutral white mask.
- Do a strand test before applying color to the whole head to see how it reacts on the base.
- Mark all the stripes before starting color applications to maintain symmetry
- Use fine brushes and thin gloves for greater precision in detailing.
- Have all isolation materials (film, foil) ready to keep the work area clean and prevent color contamination.
- Plan the color application order ahead of time to ensure the design is clear and balanced.
