SecondClass – Ms Carroll

What a great year Ms Carroll’s class have had.

Together, we have tackled challenging math problems, learned new vocabulary, explored exciting new concepts, and read many fantastic books. The girls have worked so hard, learned so much, and made great friends along the way.

Beyond all the hard work, we have also had plenty of fun together. We engaged in the literacy lift -off programme earlier in the year, which was very beneficial to our reading. We dressed up for Halloween, and we showed off some of our wonderful talents at the Talent Show. We also had the Easter parade, camogie with Emmett among many other activities. We went on a fun-filled trip to the library together, where we got a chance to see different types of books and to learn how to use the library efficiently. The girls had great fun orienteering and tried school maths trails, whichthey loved.

The girls trained really hard for our School Fun Run by doing our daily mile and they are so enthusiastic every day to get out and improve their fitness levels. Well done everyone.

The excitement of our school tour was immense. We were so excited to see the horses at the National Stud and learn about these magnificent animals.

Finally, this year was extra special as many of the girls made their First Holy Communion. It was a true celebration of your faith and a milestone in your lives. You all looked stunning and it was such a pleasure to see you all receiving the sacrament.
