Junior Infants – Ms Clifford

What a brilliant year we have had in Junior Infants, filled with new friendships, fun, learning and laughter. Some highlights of the year included our Halloween dress up in October and our special visit from Santa Claus and singing in the carol service in December. We became scientists in January and put on our dancing shoes for the Ceilí Mór during Seachtain na Gaeilge. Creativity was on full display in April as we hopped and skipped in our Easter parade. As the summer approached, the girls were busy training for our Fun Run in June and enjoyed a wonderful trip to Caragh Farm for their school tour. In between all these exciting events, we managed to squeeze in lots of other activities such as gymnastics, orienteering, dancing, baking, art and our much-anticipated weekly reading time with the girls in Ms. Carr & Ms. Jacob’s Fourth Class. Throughout the year, we went on lots of adventures exploring our environment and learned all about the animals and plants that live there. We also had some exciting visits from Garda Seamus, our friends from the library and Kathleen’s lovely lambs, Salt and Pepper. We had so much fun learning together all year.

All of the girls should be very proud of the progress they have made this year. I am so lucky to have had the pleasure of teaching them and I would like to express my sincere thanks to all parents and guardians for your continued support. I hope you all have a lovely summer and I wish all the girls the very best heading into senior infants.
