School Debating Team
We had some superb candidates who tried out for the school debating team back in September. Our school was superbly represented in the Concern Worldwide Primary Debating Festival with Kildare Education Centre by Saoirse Villing, Faye Jacob, Robyn Feely, Nóirín Sweeney, Ellie Keogh and Ailbhe O’Loughlin.
Duathlon
We were privileged this year to have our 4 th classes involved in a Duathlon here on the school grounds. The girls had a fantastic few weeks training with Gary, Denise and Sarah from Triathlon Ireland. They spent a busy month running and cycling rings around their teachers in order to prep are for the event and it was all worthwhile as they completed their duathlon successfully on a lovely October morning!

The values of determination and perseverance help us to change our Mind-set and focus on what we can do instead of what we cannot.
Honesty will always be the best policy and we must always tell the truth.
We learned that we must always be responsible for our actions and be prepared to face consequences of any actions we take.
Empathy is a very important value we try to uphold as it helps us to be kind and to think about how others will feel if they are hurt.
In January, the whole school focussed on making a goal for the year ahead. Did you manage to achieve your goal?
