Cumann na mBunscoil Quiz

This year saw the return of the Cumann na mBunscooil Table Quiz. Ellie, Ella, Danielle and Robyn played a blinder and came 8th out of 36 teams. The girls represented our school so well and we are very proud of them!

Jump Into January

As part of our ongoing efforts to keep our school active we took part in Jump Into January this year. We got active by jumping, skipping and bouncing around the place while having some fun along the way!

Visits to Naas Library

We were lucky to have some lovely visits to the library this year in the Junior end of the school. We also had some librarians come and chat to us at school!

Sult na Sollán

We had great success in the Sult na Sollán Comórtas Scríobhneoireacht with Ellie Keogh, Vanesa Kubiliute and Ailbhe O’Loughlin earning the top three prizes!

Author Visits

Olivia Hope

We were very lucky just a few weeks ago to have a whole school Zoom with wonderful Irish author Olivia Hope. Olivia told us all about what it’s like to be an author and where her inspiration comes from. Inspired by the beautiful illustrations in her book Be Wild Little One, the children got the opportunity to drawn their own butterflies with Olivia!

Paddy Donnelly

Ms Loughnane’s class were also very lucky earlier in the year to have a visit from the wonderful Paddy Donnelly after Ms Loughnane had a chance encounter with him in Dealz one afternoon!
