Letter From the Editor Welcome to Manchester City guides Issue 1: The Street Style guide.

The purpose of these guides is to show and explore a different aspect of Fashion & Lifestyle within the ever growing metropolitan city which is Manchester within each issue. This issue is going to explore the street style that the city holds and also to have a look at the stores that can be found around the city which help to create this style.

Manchester has been my home for 4 years now and even though that is a fairly short amount of time in my life I have witnessed the city grow massively in many different ways. There were not many skyscrsapers when I first moved here but now there is a huge difference in the type of skyline that the city has. Manchester is a city which is quickly developing and the style that the city has is certainly involved in that too.

Manchester has always been a city which has had influence on other cities around the UK. You dont have to look back far to time like the Madchester rave scene and look how much that influenced the countries dance music scene. It comes as no suprise that fashion in Manchester is becoming an influence again with lots of brands setting up in Manchester.

I hope that you enjoy this exploring Manchester Street Style and the cities shops in this issue and I hope you enjoy the journey that these guides will be going on by exploring the different aspects of Manchesters Fashion & Lifestyle. Also look out for the online blog coming soon.

Sneaker63 was Manchesters first sneaker consignment store. They have a big collection of deadstock and rare sneakers, clothing and miscellaneous accessories and items.

I highly reccomend a visit to this store for many reasons but mainly because they have items you cannot find anywhere else and you can grab yourself a grail from brands including: Supreme, Nike, Anti Social Social Club & Yeezy.

KERSH KICKS

KershKicks is the UKs No.1 deadstock collection. It INSTAGRAM @KershKicks ADDRESS 36-40 Edge Street, Northern Quarter Manchester, M4 1HN

has been opened by two brothers from Liverpool who have a love for streetwear and sneakers. Sam was in USA studying and realised that there were no stores in the UK like the household names of Flight Club and Round Two which exist in the States.

The brothers began selling sneakers online and on Instagram and the collection soon got too big and they needed to open a store and then KershKicks was born.

Opening last August, the physical space is a culmination of the pair's passion for sneakers, streetwear and vision to be able to sell deadstock product from brands like Off-White, Supreme and Palace to the North of England from a store in Northern Quarter, Manchester.
