KEVIN LAYNE –CULTURE MEETS CINEMA

Kevin Layne, son of Allyson and Vernon, is a British actor whose work spans blockbuster films and TV—grounded in his Caribbean heritage.

Inspired by his father’s appearance in Live and Let Die, Kevin pursued acting, earning a Master’s from ArtsEd London. His credits include:

• Star Wars: The Last Jedi – Resistance Bomber Pilot

• Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom –Submarine Pilot

• 15 Minutes of War – Lead role as Barkhad

• Patrick Melrose, Guerrilla, Giri/Haji, and Netflix’s AKA (2023), which topped global charts

Off-screen, Kevin is involved in carnival arts, designing large-scale costumes for Genesis, continuing his family’s cultural tradition.
