THE CHALLENGERS A JOURNEY OF INTENTIONAL GROWTH
The Challengers was founded by Shelly Allmark & Mustafa Rasheed during the COVID-19 lockdown, a time marked by personal and collective challenges. Seeking connection and comfort, Shelly began morning video calls with friends, incorporating journaling, affirmations, scripture, and prayer into a structured routine. This evolved into the 28 Morning Challenge, a practice that fostered reflection, self-awareness, and hope.
The growing community drew diverse participants, prompting Shelly to partner with Mustafa Rasheed, whose mindfulness expertise created spaces for men while she supported women. Together, they established The Challengers as a community rooted in intentional growth, gentle accountability, and meaningful self-care. Monthly themed challenges, guides, and routines were developed to help individuals build healthier habits through consistent, small steps.
Expanding their reach, The Challengers now offer workplace wellbeing workshops, focusing on mindfulness and stress reduction. This October, the official launch includes the 31 Night Challenge, an evening routine designed to help participants wind down, reset, and nurture themselves at the end of demanding days.
The Challengers invite people, whether new to self-care or seeking to reignite their journey, to join a supportive space that values kindness, reflection, and community over pressure or perfection. Led by Shelly and Mustafa, the initiative inspires intentional growth and meaningful change.
