It’s about
YOUR MINISTRY. Flexible You decide when, where, and how to get your degree. All courses are online, and MLC lets you take them on your schedule, not ours. Affordable MLC’s graduate program exists to serve WELS teachers and schools, not profit from them. You won’t pay tuition to support our other college programs, so our cost per credit is a better value than any other reputable program. Matched to your ministry You can choose from four emphases - instruction, leadership, special education, and educational technology—or take courses from all four. MLC’s master’s program is not a one-size-fits-all experience, because we believe getting a degree is about learning, not jumping through hoops.
“ I felt the program was very flexible in working with me. There were several times where I had to take a break from the program because of things that were going on in my personal life. But they were more than willing to work through those difficulties with me and make sure I was able to finish the program.”
“ For anyone considering becoming a part of the Martin Luther College graduate program I would encourage them to dig deeply into why they want to continue their education. I hope they know and hold dear to their hearts the value of God’s Word and the importance of continuing to grow, not only in teaching and instructional practices but also in Christian, Lutheran teaching and instructional practices.”
“ What I would say to other WELS teachers is that this MLC master’s program has been just tremendous. It has really helped me grow in my faith, has helped me grow in making connections with other WELS teachers, and has just been such a blessing to myself, my family, and the students that I teach every day.” Suzanne Zimmerman, MS Ed Bethany-Kenosha WI

“ WELS educators respond to God’s call, offering their lives as living sacrifices for the sake of the gospel. As faithful servants they work hard, presenting the best offering they can to their Lord and the people they serve. Martin Luther College exists to support these special teachers. Our master’s program is uniquely designed to give them what they need for ministry in a manner that respects their busy lives. I encourage every WELS teacher to make use of the program, or individual courses, as a part of their ministry development plan.”
