“The process of receiving my master’s degree from MLC changed my entire ministry. The classes I took gave me the confidence and direction I needed to lead my faculty. Without the Lord’s guidance and wisdom and the knowledge I gained from my degree, I don’t think I would have the skill set to fulfill this call.”

“I really appreciated the classes that were directly focused on the use of technology in the classroom. Many times an in-class discussion would be the spark for an idea I would take and use in my own class.”

“The program has exceeded my expectations in every way I could imagine. And MLC is also affordable, which is a bonus! The coursework is authentic, and much of what I study, read, and practice I can then transfer to my classroom.”

EARLY CHILDHOOD DIRECTOR Emphasis

“MLC’s master’s program has changed how I view my students’ struggles and their challenges. It has given me a new perspective to better help them overcome those challenges.”

MS in EDUCATION continued from page 13

“This master’s program equips these leaders with the financial, administrative, and marketing skills to sustain strong ministry.”

Dr. Jeff Lemke

“Each and every class had direct correlation for me as an early childhood director. I gained confidence and new skills in leading an early childhood program spiritually, educationally, and fiscally in regard to staff, students, and families.”

Michelle Dobberstein

continued on page 16 and ABOVE ALL — MINISTRY-FOCUSED

“I feel like the MLC master’s program did a great job training me for this principal call! The courses were outstanding. They prepared me spiritually, as the focus of every course is the mission of our schools. That’s something you won’t find in other programs.”

Phil Gustafson

“We understand that our schools and congregations do not typically have dedicated IT personnel, yet technology is vital. A teacher who also acts as the technology director can provide the ideas, support, and encouragement that will align technology use with 21st-century educational goals.”

Rachel Renno

“It’s been exactly what I needed to start a Guided Studies program. One of the most valuable aspects has been the community of teachers I’ve been learning with and the professors who have added their wisdom and experience. The evidence-based procedures and depth of knowledge the master’s program provides allows us to better support our children, teachers, and parents.”

SYNCHRONOUS ONLINE

HEB9001 Hebrew Institute 1 credit

The Summer Hebrew Institute is an upper-level course in biblical Hebrew for pastors with a strong interest and ability in Hebrew.

The 2025 course will focus on the rapid reading of 2 Chronicles 21-35 in Hebrew. In these chapters we will read about the idolatry and tragic end of the Southern Kingdom—how Judah degenerated after the death of Jehoshaphat. But we will also read about the remarkable reformations of Hezekiah and Josiah, and the unbelievable repentance of Manasseh, recorded only in 2 Chronicles and not in 2 Kings. Throughout the chapters, we will note features of Late Biblical Hebrew.

For an extra project, each participant will spend some time with an upper-level Hebrew research tool or teaching tool with which he was previously unacquainted.

MINISTRY CERTIFICATION

“Having grown up attending WELS schools, I had a solid foundation with Bible and catechism studies. Certification courses helped me realize that foundations beg to be built upon.
