The organization started as a college exam prep course but has since expanded its range to encompass from Early Education to High School. The focus is on providing meaningful education to students from the very beginning of their schooling. Positivo’s success and leadership in the field is a testament to the hard work and dedication of its students and staff. Through its commitment, Positivo has embedded its position as a reference in Education, Educational Solutions, Technology, and Printing.

CENTER FOR PEDAGOGICAL INNOVATION, RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT Com o objetivo de trazer excelência aos serviços ofertados em todas as unidades educacionais, em 2018 os colégios da Rede Positivo implantaram o CIPP: Centro de Inovação Pedagógica, Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento. Fazem parte desse departamento mais de 100 profissionais que atuam diariamente para garantir a qualidade de ensino, aprimorar os serviços educacionais e desenvolver, em parceria com as equipes pedagógicas das diferentes unidades, novas ideias e projetos. Além de estar focado em promover uma educação de qualidade aos estudantes, o centro pedagógico também se dedica à formação do corpo docente, entendendo-o como uma comunidade colaborativa de aprendizagem que está em constante formação.
Positivo’s schools have taken a proactive approach to improving education by implementing the Center for Pedagogical Innovation, Research and Development (CIPP) in 2018. Over 100 professionals work tirelessly to ensure that the quality of teaching is top-notch, and that educational services are continuously improved. They develop new ideas and projects in partnership with pedagogical teams to achieve this goal. The pedagogical center also focuses on professional development, considering it a collaborative learning community that is constantly being formed through the TEIA program.

The student’s repertoire goes beyond the language itself. The subjects in the English language provide the context for the language to be used in real situations, allowing its use as a tool for authentic, natural, and spontaneous communication.

Desde a Educação Infantil, prezamos pela abordagem de trabalho baseada em projetos, que é construída com o estudante e não para ele. Isso porque entendemos que a vida — que também é a escola — é baseada na resolução ou investigação dos desafios, os quais se apresentam de forma não linear e, muitas vezes, não planejada. É dever da escola espelhar essa dinâmica, desenvolvendo nos estudantes habilidades para que lidem com esses desafios de forma intencional, vivenciando todas as etapas e, principalmente, refletindo sobre cada uma delas.
From kindergarten, we value a project-based approach that is co-constructed with the student, not just for the student. This is because we understand that life — which is also the school — is based on addressing or investigating challenges that arise in a non-linear and often unplanned manner. It is the school’s duty to mirror this dynamic, developing in students the skills to deal with these challenges intentionally, experiencing each stage fully, and, most importantly, reflecting on each one.

The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is offered from 6th to 10th grade (MYP 1 - 5), aimed at children and adolescents aged 10 to 16 years old. THE DIPLOMA PROGRAMME (DP) O programa IB Diploma é oferecido durante os dois últimos anos do Ensino Médio (2ª e 3ª séries). Ele visa desenvolver a amplitude e profundidade de conhecimento e, ao longo do programa, os estudantes florescem fisicamente, intelectualmente, emocionalmente e eticamente.
The IB Diploma Programme is offered during the last two years of high school (11th and 12th grades). The program aims to develop breadth and depth of knowledge, and throughout the program, students flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally, and ethically.

POSITIVO INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AND THE GOLD LEVEL LEED CERTIFICATION A conquista é fruto de uma série de exigências que compõem a edificação do colégio, desde a construção, manutenção e uso propriamente dito, até o impacto no entorno. O Positivo é o primeiro edifício do Brasil a receber a certificação ambiental Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) nível ouro. As dimensões avaliadas são: espaço sustentável, eficiência do uso da água, energia e atmosfera, materiais e recursos, qualidade ambiental interna, inovação e processos.
This achievement is the result of a series of requirements that make up the construction of the school, from the actual building, maintenance, and usage to its impact on the surroundings. The facilities of Positivo International School are the first building in Brazil to receive the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) environmental certification at the gold level. The evaluated dimensions include sustainable space, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, innovation, and processes.
PROGRAMA DE LOGÍSTICA REVERSA REVERSE LOGISTICS PROGRAM
No fim de 2018, após o lançamento do projeto Logística Reversa, o grupo passa a ser responsável também pelo destino final dos materiais didáticos. A iniciativa foi da estudante do Positivo International School Helena Giotto. A receita arrecadada com a comercialização é destinada a projetos socioambientais e, desde o início do projeto, a ação já garantiu a destinação correta de mais de 68 toneladas de livros didáticos usados.
At the end of 2018, after the launch of the Reverse Logistics project, Rede Positivo takes on the responsibility for the final disposal of discarded educational materials. The initiative came from Positivo International School student Helena Giotto. The revenue collected from sales is allocated to socioenvironmental projects and, since the beginning of the project, the action has already ensured the correct disposal of more than 68 tons of used textbooks.
CONSERVAÇÃO DA MATA DO URU MATA DO URU CONSERVATION Com cerca de 128 hectares na região da Lapa (PR), a Mata do Uru é uma Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natural que forma uma relevante área preservada de Floresta de Araucárias e Campos Naturais, preservando onças, pumas, jaguatiricas e centenas de outras espécies.
With about 128 hectares in the Lapa region (PR), Mata do Uru is a Private Natural Heritage Reserve that forms a relevant preserved area of Araucaria Forest and Natural Fields, preserving jaguars, pumas, ocelots and hundreds of other species.
CERTIFICADO INTERNACIONAL DE ENERGIA RENOVÁVEL INTERNATIONAL RENEWABLE ENERGY CERTIFICATE O documento conquistado em 2023 comprova que toda a energia consumida pelas empresas da Rede Positivo é proveniente de energias renováveis, como a eólica e de hidrelétricas. Com isso, reafirmamos o compromisso com a diminuição do impacto ambiental, garantindo que as unidades dos colégios da Rede Positivo atuem de forma responsável e sustentável.
The certificate obtained in 2023 ensures that all the energy consumed by Rede Positivo companies comes from renewable sources, such as wind and hydroelectric power. With this, we reaffirm our commitment to reducing environmental impact, ensuring that the units of Rede Positivo schools operate responsibly and with a commitment to sustainability.
ÉTICA E COMPLIANCE ETHICS AND COMPLIANCE
Estar em conformidade com as leis, regulamentos e práticas ligadas às áreas de atuação é fundamental. Assim, em 2016 foi criada a Área de Compliance, responsável por planejar e colocar em prática as ações do Programa de Integridade Positivo, entre outras atribuições relacionadas à preservação e à promoção do modo de agir ético. Conscientes da importância de promover debates e discussões sobre respeito, empatia e boa convivência, os colégios da Rede Positivo, constantemente, promovem palestras com temas comuns e pertinentes ao ambiente escolar, como a prevenção ao bullying.
Being in compliance with laws, regulations, and practices related to our areas of operation is essential. Thus, in 2016, the Compliance Department was established, responsible for planning and implementing actions of the Positivo Integrity Program, among other tasks related to preserving and promoting ethical conduct. Aware of the importance of fostering discussions on respect, empathy, and positive interactions, Positivo’s Schools consistently organize lectures on relevant and common topics within the school environment, such as bullying prevention.
INSTITUTO POSITIVO POSITIVO INSTITUTE
Fundado em 2012, o Instituto Positivo atua na gestão do investimento social da Rede Positivo e, desde 2015, estabeleceu como missão contribuir para a melhoria da qualidade e da equidade na educação pública. Para atingir seu objetivo, o Instituto incentiva o Regime de Colaboração, apoiando a implantação de um mecanismo chamado Arranjo de Desenvolvimento da Educação. Esse mecanismo preconiza o trabalho colaborativo entre secretarias municipais de educação e representa uma estratégia eficaz para vencer os desafios do cenário educacional, especialmente para os municípios de pequeno e médio porte, que representam cerca de 70% do total de municípios em nosso país. As atividades do Instituto Positivo abrangem do apoio técnico à implantação desse mecanismo colaborativo; durante sete anos, esse apoio foi feito na região da Grande Florianópolis, em Santa Catarina, envolvendo 22 municípios, e a partir de março de 2022 teve início um trabalho com sete municípios na região do Litoral Paranaense. Também fazem parte do escopo de trabalho do Instituto a pesquisa, produção e disseminação de conhecimentos sobre essa estratégia de trabalho, a fim de que mais secretários municipais de educação a conheçam e possam implantá-la em sua região. Ainda, o Instituto participa ativamente de discussões nos âmbitos Executivo e Legislativo, com o objetivo de fortalecer cada vez mais esse modelo de trabalho. Em parceria com os colégios da Rede Positivo, o Instituto realiza a gestão do Centro de Educação Infantil Maria Amélia, uma organização sem fins lucrativos que atende, gratuitamente e em período integral, cerca de 100 crianças em situação de vulnerabilidade social, moradoras do bairro Jardim Gabineto, em Curitiba e arredores.
Founded in 2012, Positivo Institute manages Rede Positivo’s social investment, and since 2015 contributing to improving the quality and equity in public education has been established as its mission. In order to achieve its goal, the Institute has chosen to encourage a Collaboration System, supporting the implementation of a mechanism called Education Development Arrangement, which advocates collaborative work among municipal education departments and represents an effective strategy to overcome the challenges of the educational scenario, especially for small and medium-sized municipalities, which represent about 70% of all municipalities in our country. Positivo Institute activities include technical support for the implementation of this collaborative mechanism; for 7 years, this support was provided in Grande Florianópolis, in the state of Santa Catarina, involving 22 municipalities, and as of March 2022, work began with 7 municipalities in the cost of Paraná. Also part of the Institute’s scope of work is the research, production, and dissemination of knowledge about this work strategy, so that more municipal Department of Education get to know it and can implement it in their region, and also the active participation in discussions in the Executive and Legislative spheres, in order to strengthen this work model even more. In partnership with Positivo’s schools, the Institute runs Maria Amélia Early Childhood Education Center, a non-profit organization that provides free full-time care to approximately 100 children in social vulnerability situations, residing in the Jardim Gabineto neighborhood and surrounding areas.
