Subject Line: Tips for a Stress-Free Holiday Season

The holiday season can be fun, but it can also be overwhelming. Follow these tips to minimize stress this holiday season. Set realistic expectations. You might not be able to accomplish everything you originally planned for the season, and that’s okay! Give yourself grace and set realistic expectations for what you can do. For example, instead of sending family and friends physical holiday cards, consider sending e-cards to save time and money. Take time to recharge. Remember to make time for activities that refuel you, such as reading, spending time with friends and going on walks. Keep your healthy habits. If you have developed healthy habits throughout the year, don’t throw them out during the holidays. You’ll feel better if you keep close to your regular diet and exercise routine. Moderation is key! Do less. Before you say yes to everyone, decide what is most important to you and where you want to spend your time. This applies to family traditions as well. It’s okay to say no.
