Just Read: You Can Change the World! Advocating and Promoting Early Childhood Literacy

Reading to a child is the single most important indicator of their future success. Not flashcards or workbooks, but a parent or caretaker taking 20 minutes every day to read to a child. In the U.S., 1 in 4 children grow up without learning to read. I have a plan to reach out to every elementary school aged child and younger in the State of Utah, & “Just get them reading.”
WHAT DOES SISTERHOOD MEAN TO YOU?

We all want to belong. I have felt the strongest sense of belonging and solidarity within this sisterhood, which has spurred acceptance and growth within myself. It has helped me strive to become my best because I know they have my back, and they have a power that can nudge me to step outside my comfort zone and grow and develop in all aspects of my life. This sisterhood not only celebrates each other’s happy times, but also supports and comforts during tough times. No matter what these sisters are always there for me. I love that the Celtic knot is a representation of Sisterhood. It is strong, and has an eternal, unbroken bond that is made to last forever.
WHAT DOE STYLE MEAN TO YOU?
Style is a reflection of my personality and individuality. I believe my overall appearance has an impact on the way I am perceived by others, and the way I feel about myself. Impeccable style has nothing to do with price, but instead is timeless, classy, occasion based, simple, chic, not trendy. Overall, I try to take into account my personality, body shape, event, budget and color/texture when I am purchasing new items, or putting together an outfit.
