I have been very involved with my social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and my blog). I’ve been posting a lot about the arts in my stories trying to connect our community through questions and through my own narrative of the art. I also have been going to schools to help show the influence that art can have in your life and how art can be a positive influence no matter how old you are.

Sisterhood to me means supporting one another in our own aspirations and goals. I believe it’s lifting one another up and being there for one another when the hard times roll in. It’s a community of love and support.

Style and fashion is an artistic choice and style means that we each have our very own unique way of expressing ourselves. It is a form of creativity that is entirely in our hands.

COMMUNITY SERVICE INITIATIVE Lending Aid to First Aid

I have been able to speak at schools all across the state about the jobs and responsibilities of first responders and what to do during an emergency. I have helped with police outreach programs as well as fundraising for local departments. I have taught basic first aid skills to kids and teens as well as CPR. I have partnered with Project Overwatch to show appreciation for first responders and conducted interviews with them.

WHAT DOES SCHOLARSHIP MEAN TO YOU?

Scholarship means that I will have the opportunity to pursue my educational goals and dreams without accruing large amounts of debt and student loans.

WHAT DOES SERVICE MEAN TO YOU?
