Let’s CREATE Wellness

The arts have always been my way of maintaining my mental health. Because of that I have made it my mission to teach anyone I am able to about the importance of mental health care. I have been able to visit classrooms across Utah and host local events to teach the uses of art on maintaining a positive mental well-being. I have seen how sharing my story and the tools I use has changed lives.

WHAT DOES SUCCESS MEAN TO YOU?

The way I have found success through Miss America is by discovering who I am and gaining confidence in myself. When I started competing I had a hard time speaking up for myself and I was trying to please everyone around me. I am more successful now because Miss America has shown me how to be true to myself.

WHAT DOES SISTERHOOD MEAN TO YOU?

Truth be told, this is the pillar that keeps me coming back. The Miss America organization has given me so much, but the friendships I’ve made have been the driving force for my involvement over the last seven years. I love that in every competition I do I can go into it knowing that no matter the outcome I will gain many new sisters - women who inspire me, cheer me on in my big moments, and give me a shoulder to cry on when I need it! When I say the Miss America organization changes lives I am talking about the women at every level of competition who make this organization beautiful.
