Building Your Toolbox
I have focused my work towards creating infographics and tips on social media, and creating what I call, “Coping Cards,” that have tons of healthy suggestions and breathing techniques for dealing with mental and emotional distress. I have handed these out at suicide walks I have attended, and also given them out to Cedar Valley High School, where they were distributed to the students. I have also received training and certification for QPR suicide prevention.
WHAT DOES SISTERHOOD MEAN TO YOU?

The friendships and connections that are made through the Miss America Organization are long lasting. When I was 8 years old, I was a Little Miss at Miss Utah, and I still keep in contact with my Miss. The girls that I will be sharing the stage with are not my competition, they’re my colleagues. We all share a love for the program and a passion for helping people that helps ignite our work towards a unanimous goal.
WHAT DOES SCHOLARSHIP MEAN TO YOU?
Majority of Americans have a difficult time paying for even one full year of college, let alone four. Scholarships are the golden ticket that provide a way for anyone to gain higher education, regardless of socioeconomic status. That opportunity is the key that can unlock a limitless space to grow and be creative.
