The Gift of Movement Scholarship

I provide scholarships for underprivileged youth who want to participate in sports and the performing arts but do not have the financial means to participate. The scholarship has two parts: raising the money and awarding it to the child. I strive to provide more opportunities for youth, bridging financial gaps one child at a time.

WHAT DOES STYLE MEAN TO YOU?

Style to me is a summer dress and a cute pair of heels, which is what I feel most confident in. I have always looked to my mom for inspiration; growing up you would find me constantly stealing clothes out of her closet.

WHAT DOES SUCCESS MEAN TO YOU?

Success means making connections. The Miss America Organization has provided me with so many amazing connections that I will take with me for the rest of my life. This year, the president of the Murray Chamber of Commerce contacted me to be featured in the Positive Leaders of Utah booklet for the work I have done with the Gift of Movement. This opportunity presented itself because of the connections I made competing within the MAO.
