COMMUNITY SERVICE INITIATIVE Seeds for Soldiers

I value in giving back to those who give to us. In my time in the schools, I was able to raise awareness and share stories of how their program has helped soldiers all over the world. My involvement has included creating cards, tying these cards to bags of sunflower seeds, sharing in schools, and raising money for shipping costs and costs of seeds. I also help with the process of shipping.

WHAT DOES SCHOLARSHIP MEAN TO YOU?

For myself, scholarship means being able to afford to further my education, and to obtain a career that I will be able to support myself and my future family with.

WHAT DOES SISTERHOOD MEAN TO YOU?

This is one of my favorite pillars of the Miss America brand. Sisterhood to me means all of the wonderful girls I have met through this program. They have given me a sense of belonging and motivation to be my very best! These girls that I have now gained as sister, will be my friends for life!
