A Breakout Mentality for a Breakout Year Micah 2:12-13 (NKJV) “I will surely assemble all of you, O Jacob, I will surely gather the remnant of Israel. I will put them together like sheep of the fold, Like a flock in the midst of their pasture. They shall make a loud noise because of so many people. 13 The one who breaks open will come up before them; They will break out, Pass through the gate, And go out by it; Their king will pass before them, With the Lord at their head.”

God BLESS You Member & Partners! As many of you know by now, this year’s theme is “A Break Out Year: A Time of Validation.” God began to talk to me about this last October as a means to get all our partners ready for what I believe is our greatest year yet. In the storyline of our theme verse, Micah is a prophet to Israel and for the most part he speaks of judgment throughout his book. However, in chapter two, verses twelve and thirteen, he begins to talk about how God will be restoring His remnant. A remnant is a small part of the whole group that is compliant and ready for God to bless. I believe that we are a part of God’s remnant. We’ve been faithful, and God is ready to bless and restore us and cause us to “break out” this year. I think it’s critical to understand that our breaking out will occur as a result of our continual obedience to God. According to Isaiah 1:19 “if we are willing and obedient, we shall eat the good of the land.” Isaiah 3:10 says something similar “say to the righteous it shall be well.” In 2024, God is going to continue to put His stamp of approval on those of us who have stood for righteousness and made God’s word final authority in all matters, “WE WILL BREAK OUT!” It is key to understand that our breaking out will be linked to our God going before us and making crooked places straight and rough places smooth (Isaiah 45:2). In fact, God has always been ready to do this for every believer that would trust and obey Him. Hear the Word of the Lord concerning His going ahead of you and being with you at the same time:
Deuteronomy 31:8 (NKJV) And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed. I believe that a key ingredient for breaking out this year will be your mindset. Are you aggressive in not being afraid? Are you aggressive in believing God and taking Him at His word? In my opinion the mind is one of the most crucial parts of a person’s outcomes in life. If you don’t elevate your thinking, and believe God, there will not be any breaking out, in fact you will decline. However, if your mind can align with the status of your born-again spirit, you will see all types of breakouts of success this year. So, what does this mean for us as a church body? Here are some key focal points of breaking out for KCC this year: 1. 2. 3. 4.
We will breakout in evangelism and church numerical growth. We will breakout in membership spiritual growth, individual progress, and promotion. We will breakout in financial abundance both organizationally and individually. We will breakout in church expansion into our communities locally and nationally (television broadcast, Kingdom Experiences in cities etc.). 5. We will breakout in our overall KCC experience, this includes worship and fellowship (church, life groups, conferences etc.). As partners, I think it’s very important for you to understand a few of our projects and initiatives that are slated for this year. I’ve always been a big proponent of being a good steward of God's finances and many of you have been strong contributors and for this I am so grateful. Our target for 2023 has been met. We are officially “DEBT FREE”! We do not owe anyone anything but to love them! I’m so grateful to God and to you for all your support last year and in previous years. However, we are very much in a place of desiring your ongoing financial support so that we can continue to expand the vision of our ministry. Our campus debt freedom is simply one leg of our mission, we have so many more expenses to meet weekly and annually to continue to be a viable ministry in this time. For example, one TV broadcast can cost thousands of dollars literally depending on the market and channels. We’ve not slowed down in expanding our television outreach, as of now we are in the following cities and surrounding areas Charlotte, NC (Daily); Charleston, SC; Knoxville, TN; Norfolk, VA; and Raleigh, NC. Folks, these are five major television markets, and our vision is only expanding. We anticipate being in other cities and states this year. I will keep you updated as we make more airtime acquisitions. In 2023, not only did we become debt free, but we also built and paid off our Grace House boarding home for unwed moms and children. That project is staffed today and taking in its first residents! God is so faithful! As a result of your continued support, babies will live and women will get a second shot at life. The Grace House tagline is simple, we are “Helping Women and Children Catch Up and Win in Life.” We will need your continued support in this mission to maintain our current home and expand. This mission will have so many great outflows this year, I’m excited about the lives that will be touched by our ministry.
Our main target this year will be our “Project Account.” It is my goal to substantially beef up our savings to be ready to fund our Multipurpose Building, Campus 2 Acquisition, and other capital expenditures as opportunities arise. You will see below a copy of a preliminary drawing for our multipurpose facility that will help us house our youth and other gatherings and initiatives. We are also on board to acquire a second local campus to expand our missions to our community at large. Our SUPERSEED Sunday is February 18th and this is our beginning of the year major fundraiser for our annual projects. We are asking every member and partner to pray about how you may be a substantial blessing this year. I was privileged recently to tour a tremendous Christian School in the state of North Carolina, they had all the “bells and whistles” for educating youth. I turned to my wife and said, “this is what prosperity allows organizations to do.” The only thing between KCC and multiple levels of ministry that we’ve not seen yet is finances. The Bible states that “money answers all things” (Ecclesiastes 10:19). In my new book, The Ten Test of Success, I talk about passing tests of character such as the money test, humility test, integrity test etc. At this point in the life of our ministry I realize that we have passed all of these tests. As we continue to garner financial support, we are going to do ministry at levels unheard of. Please consider coming alongside us real strong in 2024 and get ready for a great year of “Breakouts” in our favor. I believe that as you support God’s ministry, He will cause you to prosper and experience great blessings and favor in your own life. The word of God teaches that what you make happen for someone else, God will make the same happen for you (Ephesians 6:8). Let’s make it happen again this year for KCC and I believe we will continue to see things happen in our lives that go beyond our greatest expectations.
