Creamy Tuscan Garlic Chicken has the most amazing creamy garlic sauce with spinach and sun dried tomatoes. This is a restaurant quality meal ready in 30 minutes!

1½ pounds boneless

In a large skillet add olive oil and cook

ello Church family and Partners, I pray that this letter finds you doing well. Recently, I preached a message entitled “What are you going to do with today?” This message had as its central focus the idea of redeeming time and making the best of our opportunities in the here and now. The concept of managing time resonates with me because time seems to be moving now faster than ever.

We are officially in the “Spring of 2021!” We are one quarter down with only three to go in this year, it’s time to get busy about your life and purpose. I want to offer three key points that will help you to frame your steps towards productivity. The Psalmist says in Psalm 118:24 “THIS IS THE DAY THAT THE LORD HAS MADE; WE WILL REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT.”

1. Focus on Today: The past should only be a reference point for where you came from. Today is most important. Do something with today!

2. Realize God’s Resources Assigned to This Day: Since the Lord made this day, it is imperative to know that He has also provided everything you need to make this day fruitful. He has all the money, favor, and encouragement you need for this day. Place a draw on all three by making faith confessions daily. Remember, “He Daily Loads Us With Benefits” (Psalm 68:19).

3. Purposely Rejoice: It is crucial that believers keep an “attitude of gratitude”. We need to be intentional in giving God glory no matter what is going on in society. Find reasons to thank God everyday of your life.

There is so much to be grateful for on a daily continuum. Notice the scripture says “we” will rejoice. Keep people around you that are positive and grateful as well. There is nothing like a godly conversation to keep your fire of thankfulness burning!

At the end of each day, make it your business to be reflective of all of the good things that have occurred in that day. God is so gracious and kind towards us, and He wants us to take note of His wonderful deeds toward us. Remember, it is time to become productive so that you can look back on the second quarter of this year and be able to have a warm sense of accomplishment. Let’s spring into action!

There has never been, neither will there ever be, no other truth that has the ability to change lives, like the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is a story that has been told and retold for thousands of years, yet, like the dawning of a new day, it is always new and refreshing! This truth is the single most important truth of the Christian faith and should be celebrated not just one day out of the year, but throughout the year. For me, everything I do and live for, rest on the death and resurrection of Christ and as I reflect on this magnificent miracle, one word comes to my mind. Gratitude. Having once been an enemy of God bound for hell, to now being a forgiven child of God with an eternal inheritance in Heaven, I am incredibly thankful for the cross! Before salvation, I had fallen short of God’s standard and I remember feelings of hopelessness and regret and believing that my sins were too great for God to forgive. It was a revelation of God’s love for me (and all humanity) that gave me hope.

I came to know and believe that God loved me so completely that He sent His Son to sacrifice Himself and take the penalty of my sin, making it His own. In summation; I was doomed to death and hell fire, but Jesus took the weight of my sins as His own, bore the punishment that I so rightly deserved and died in my place so that I could have eternal life in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). So why am I thankful for the cross? 1 Corinthians 5:21 records, “God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” I am thankful because my debts have been paid in full and I am Heaven bound. This is the greatest act of love ever known. To Him be the glory, honor and praise, forever and ever!

Gratitude Healing Testimony!

Pastor Rogers has taught lessons on healing such as Healing Is Possible, and You Don't Have To Be Sick. So, I believe John 10:10, Isaiah 53:5, and Psalms 103:2-4 (just to name a few).

One Sunday morning, I woke up moving fast and was immediately slowed by pain in my back almost to the hip. It had never bothered me before and as a former athlete you ignore pain to 'get back in the game'.

So, I noticed the pain, thought about it and kept moving. As the Spirit of God moved, Pastor said, "Someone has pain in their back and God wants to heal you." I immediately thought to myself, "Hey that's me!" I quickly made my way to the altar and Pastor Rogers anointed me with oil and the pain was gone and did not return. I was quickly reminded that "And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So, don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows" of course He is concerned with the onset of pain in my body. I Praise God for His love and for a Pastor who hears from Him.

Spring Cleaning

Tired of seeing the pile of papers on your desk? Looking for your favorite sweater and cannot find it? If this is you, it may be time to spring clean and declutter your surroundings. Spring cleaning does not have to be time consuming or a daunting task!

There are simple steps to organize and declutter your home.

Here are a few tips to get you started:

1. Focus on One Room at A Time Tackling your whole home or multiple areas of your home could result in being overwhelmed or giving up. Organize and declutter small spaces that you can easily manage then work your way to larger unmanageable tasks.

2, Use Your Smartphone Taking photos of documents, receipts, and important paperwork and saving them on a USB device, Google Drive, or computer will help reduce paper clutter. You can also use some phone apps to scan your documents to save for future use.

3. Use the Three- Box Method Get three boxes and label them: trash, donate, and keep. Enter any room in your home and place each item into one of the following boxes. Do not skip a single item, no matter how insignificant you may think it is. This may take days, weeks, or months, but it will help you see how many items you really own, and you will know exactly what to do with each item.

Toss it!

Throw out expired items in your kitchen and bathroom. Items such as makeup, medications, and food including seasonings should be tossed if expired. If you have not used an item in at least a year, consider tossing it out.

4. Create Storage Invest in storage bins, baskets, stackable drawers, shoe shelves and cubbies to store items that do not have a permanent home. Add labels to your bins to help you remember the items you placed in them.

IF I READ MY OWN STORY IN A BOOK I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT, WOW, THAT AUTHOR SPENT A LOT OF TIME AND EFFORT TO PUT THE RIGHT EMPHASIS ON AND MAKE SURE ALL THE DETAILS WERE IN PLACE TO MAKE FOR AN INCREDIBLE LOVE STORY.

Well, looking back, the Lord was intricately involved in the story of Patrick and Cassey. Just as with examples in the word of God like Ruth and Boaz and Rebekah and Isaac, I realized that God is still writing love stories that will bring him Glory and I am proud to be in the number.

I knew that the Lord was up to something when my spirit was bearing a witness on 10/12/2019. I was praying with one of my friends and after the prayer was finished I kept saying “something broke” meaning something that was in a holding pattern had just been released. What I didn’t know at that

time is that on that same day, Patrick was flying to Charlotte, to visit KCC and ultimately introduce himself and ask for my phone number. He had already checked in with his Pastor and got approval from my pastor to fly to Charlotte and inquire of me.

Throughout the dating and courtship phases, we gathered plenty of information on each other and uncovered things like we were both from New York and we were the same age and grew up about 19 miles from each other yet we hadn’t crossed paths until 10/13/2019. It was clear that this was not a coincidence but a divine encounter that was produced ultimately by faith. One of my favorite scriptures to meditate has been Hebrews 10:23. No matter the physical

appearance of things I knew two things: I was going to hold fast to the profession of faith and that God who promised is faithful.

What sealed it for me was the revelation of 2 Chron 20:20, I believed the word of God for marriage for myself, and when I received multiple words concerning marriage from Pastor Gabe, Pastor Rondy, etc. I did not bend! I was settled and fastforwarding to today, I am marrying my best friend and someone who I will grow with and do great things to and for the glory of God. I want to encourage everyone who desires marriage to stay the course and get serious about your kingdom contribution and watch God put together something that Hollywood’s best directors couldn’t put together. The formula is quite simple, seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these other things will be added unto you!) Matt 6:33.

Husband to be Patrick, my grandma and my family at KCC for all of the encouragement throughout the years and say affectionately I am one of the ones and these are the things we’ve been talking about!
