WHAT MAKES A GREAT GRITTY BRITISH REALISM FILM? •  In small groups come up with a list of ingredients that you think a Great Gritty British realism film must have. •  In your groups come up with a plot that would be suitable for the genre, remember to make sure the following is noted in your discussion. •  1) British People •  2) Location and environment •  3) Relationships and attitudes towards others •  4) Interests and hobbies •  5) History and Culture •  6) Political affairs •  7) Crime and punishment •  You will then present your idea to a panel from BAFTA who will offer you feedback.
