Citizens as Experts of Everyday Life: Hands-On Experiences in Participatory Planning Processes in Austria
The architecture studio nonconform has developed it's own method to improve planning results by involving citizens and users into the planning process. The lecture gives an overview about the learnings from ten years of hands-on experiences in Austrian and German cities, villages and schools. Christina Steininger will explain in five different steps, how the collaboration of planning experts and citizens can work. Several examples of constructed and realised results and change processes show, how the results turn out.
